Kilo LSET18 Non-Scratch Scourer, Purpose, Environmentally Friendly Scrubby – Multi Colour Set of 2, One Size, 17x13cm

I wanted something eco friendly that wasn't polyester or plastic, to reduce the plastic particles going down the plug hole into the environment, but also something that worked. This has been a very useful purchase. It has scrubbed ceramic pots, iron pans, the sink, oven grills and works really well. Removes stuck on stuff easily and has lasted really well. It doesn't get stinky like those green polyester/plastic scrubbers. . I do hang it up to dry on the dish drainer when not in use and rinse it through with soapy water, but it stays quite clean just with a rinse through.I have had it in use for 7 months, by the kitchen sink and it is still going strong. I am very pleased that it is lasting and hopefully another change to my buying habits that will help reduce the quantity of my household plastic going to landfill.

Effective and beautiful. (I also keep a tougher green sponge and use Bartender's friend to remove the toughest stains on my stainless steel pans). For everyday cleaning and scrubbing without scratching, these get the job done. They can be washed in the dishwasher to refresh every couple weeks.

Really good product. I have been using for more than 6 weeks and there is no sign of damage or needing to replace just yet. The material is very durable and leaves the plate sparkling, even good on my pots which can have stubborn stains from time to time. Definitely will buy the multipack next time because I only purchased one to trial

After seeing someone mentioning these on social media I decided to give them a try. They're absolutely amazing at washing dishes. They remove stubborn burnt on residue from dishes with very little effort. I love that they can go in the washing machine. I change them every day so very hygienic and better for the environment than using the sponges which have to be thrown in the bin when they're finished with. I'm expecting these to last a long time. I'm going to buy some larger ones for cleaning my bathroom. Definitely recommend

I can't see myself using anything else from now on. Non-scratch, washable, reusable and more effective at cleaning than the usual sponges and scourers.

I really like these scrubbers. A fantastic, effective and eco-friendly option. I just throw these in the washing machine after a few day’s use. They clean and scrub our pots really well but don’t scratch any of the non-stick surfaces. I think my only request would be to have a smaller option because I have really tiny hands and have to fold the cloth double to use it and it keeps flopping out of my hands! Overall I’m thrilled with these, that’s our pan cleaning sorted for the next few years!

This arrived promptly and securely. Neither of which affect my star rating. Equally, the fact they were packaged in plastic rather than paper, was annoying but not relevant to the items purpose.I gave these a comprehensive testing out over a long weekend of cooking and washing up.The scourers are strong, and managed to get all but the toughest backed on deposits on a ceramic pan. The pan had been soaked over night to aid removal, which is something I would do normally anyway. To remove the deposits I had to use a coarse green plastic scourer, and even then a lot of force was needed. So I count this as near enough up to my standards and not enough to down mark the product.The size of the scourers is under that stated, by about 0.5cm. Again, at the size of the scourer and predicted life, this isnt enough to have me reaching to complain.This will and does scour, so small scratches were and will be evident on polished steel pans and other items. But one must be careful on all such surfaces anyway. Again, no worries there.It was not clear from the blurb on the site what gives the scourers their eco friendly food suitable abrasive quality. So far as I can tell from other sites and similar products, it comes from tree resin.All in all, it works well on all but the stubbornest of burnt on marks. No sign of it decaying or loose threads. Hopefully prices will come down for such items as awareness of micro and nano plastics increases.
