Good traditional PD charger with interchangeable cord
This charger is almost identical to another one that I have gotten from Amazon, so I had a suspicion that there was one factory that makes all of these chargers and resells them through various sellers on Amazon. Interestingly, the two chargers have identical model numbers (YDSPD45) and similar warning and logo markings. Even the electrical and thermal properties are essentially identical between the two 45W chargers. The only difference I see between the two are as follows:a) This charger comes with a detachable "mickey mouse" style power cord. This is the standard detachable power cord found in most laptop chargers. This means you can use a different cord and convert to a different adapter easily while on the go.b) This charger is grounded and has 3 prongs versus 2.c) Since the brick itself does not hang off the wall directly but rather relies on the detachable mickey mouse power cord, it does not block your outlet space similar to how the ungrounded version would.d) This charger has the correct voltage and amperage ratings on the label whereas the ungrounded version was underrated on the label. They do share many of the same characteristics, such as:a) Being a pure PD charger and not accepting any other quick charge protocols on the USB-C connector (as expected by the USB-IF forum).b) Having an attached USB-C cable that's not removable. Could be good or bad depending on how you much you travel.c) Good base voltages on 9/15/20V and charging voltages on 15/20V at rated current limits.d) Charger efficiency estimated to be at Level V (5). Good idle no-load power was 0.05W.e) Overcurrent protection shut off at 0.75A above normal rated values for 5/9/12/15V and 0.55A above for 20V.f) Temperature at 52C after 5.5h of constant full load (45W), which is quite good since some chargers can get close to 80C.g) Low charging voltage especially on the 5V level, which drops to 4.8193V at 3A of power. 9V and 12V were slightly better at 8.8812V and 11.8130V. 15V and 20V were both above the rated voltage at the designed current levels.h) Low base voltage on 5/12V - the differences were not significant, but probably could have been better considering the non-detachable cable.Besides the voltage drops mentioned previously, this charger works well and is relatively inexpensive. The mickey mouse design is quite nice and I haven't seen many USB-C chargers adopt this design that has an attached USB-C cable. I will update this review shall the charger fails prematurely.

Works like the original. Periodt
Does the job, and does it well. So, for a step -charger it does what it is supposed to. I accidentally threw my original charger away, and had to use my cellphone charger for my hp chromebook. Not a very good idea. It was slow and my hp was pretty much useless. So I purchased 45w because it had the highest wattage, and for the price point you can't beat it. Came in a flimsy envelope, but it's just a charger. Plugged in my dead hp and in 15 minutes it was charged. It's steardy in the wall and in the dock. Great buy would buy it again.

Unit isn’t functional.
Unit does not operate. Provides no power. I have an existing HP charger with identical amperage output that works, so PC not at fault. Bought this as backup for office. Tried it on multiple power outlets (just to be fair) and multiple USB-c inputs on the PC. Nothing.
