Big Bagels Welcome
To answer the big question, yes, it cuts deli bagels from New Jersey. There are times if the bagel is soft it will squish it a little, but it is easy to pull the edges round again. I make bagels at least 2-3 times a week for breakfast sandwiches and stuff like that. I cut all types of bagels, everything, onion, poppy seed, sesame seed...not one issue. Blade keeps going. After a few uses I run in through the dishwasher and everything is clean. I would buy this again.

Does exactly what is made for. Slicing muffins and bagels. Excellent product.
This product is used mainly to slice English muffins each morning which i have with my breakfast. Occasionally I eat bagels but I have not yet purchased any bagels but I suspect this slicer will do just as well with bagels as it does with English muffins. I am very satisfied with the product and recommend it highly. It came well packaged and is easy to use and clean. If you have young children keep them at a distance, that blade is sharp and the device is meant only for adults.

Not good
We were right in the middle of a pancakes and JP party need to cut bagels but all it did is smash them instead of cutting them so disappointing I’ll stick with a knife

With my left hand in a splint, this allows me to slice my muffins and bagels evenly and quickly
When you only have one working hand, this allows you to slice breads, muffins and bagels quickly and evenly

Unless your bagels are stale, they get squashed when trying to slice
