Know where your keys are
The lanyard does trick. When I put my Subaru keys in my bag, the lanyard will hang out and I will be able to locate them quickly.It has a silky texture. It is a breakaway, in case it gets caught on something. It wasn't expensive and certainly worth getting.

Broke already
Didn't last a week without the plastic clip breaking. I have several Volvo lanyard for my volvo keys and just bought a Subaru Outback . Hope the car is more reliable than the lanyard.
