Mefferts POCKET CUBE will test the mettle of some of the best puzzlers. This is a relatively complex rotational style puzzle. Initially one may wonder how it is possible to manipulate the sides of the mini-cube !!! The object is to bring the puzzle back to a single color on each of the viewable side of the mini-cube . POCKET CUBE measures approximately 2.25 inches on each side. Mefferts POCKET CUBE is rated as a level 8 on a scale of 5 to 10 by the manufacturer. (Ratings are always subjective. Your experience could differ.) Colors on faces of puzzle are adhered sticky labels. Mechanism is smooth and well designed. However all rotational style puzzles (like gear cube or rubik's cube) are susceptible to coming apart if forced or turned when out of alignment. DO NOT force turn. NOT designed for speed solving. Recommended for ages 12 through adult. (A few bright, patient 8 to 11 year olds may also enjoy) This may be one of those puzzles that will finally give your 'engineer' friend or family member a good challenge. A puzzle they will not solve in ten minutes!!
