Box had some damage when it arrived but the stand was fine. The stand would be perfect except for the fact it doesn't have a shelf inside , but you can always put one in yourself with little effort.

I really like this aquarium stand. Its simple construction, but much more than I could pull off.Pros:-Price-Utility-convince-Solid wood means easy repairsCons:-I watched the FedEx guy drop it on the ground. It broke.-Joints are only staples together, not glued, this means it can fall apart easily-Finish is even but a couple of spots were missed-Pine isn't a hardwood so it can be dentedAltogether, I still give this 4 stars because being made out of solid wood means that it can always be repaired, unlike fiber/particle board.

It comes pre-built. The stand is made of thin pieces of wood. It's stapled together. I reinforced the cabinet. It would have been better with smaller doors on the front and a solid back wall. I would have like to have shelves. I may end up fastening it to the wall. The paint job is all right it was sanded. The finish is acceptable. As compared to fiberboard and unbalanced metal stands, it still a better deal.

This thing is pretty sweet. A little weird adding the door on....They should just have the buyer screw the door into the already attached hinges, instead of whatever the heck I did.
