I purposely buy the braided cables when purchasing chargers because they seem to be more sturdy, and therefore one would assume that they probably have a longer life span. I am a middle aged woman who is careful with my belongings and only need to charge my phone about once every 2-3 days. There were no external signs of damage to the charger, so I was quite surprised when it abruptly stopped working around a month after I purchased it.I checked the electrical outlet and my phone, but everything was in working order and a borrowed cable from my son charged my phone with no problem.To be fair, sometimes companies inadvertently release defective versions of even the best products. It happens. So, I honestly don't know if this was a fluke, or an indication of the overall quality of the product. I guess that's what reviews are here to help you determine.

The angled adapter is great and seems to work both right or left. It’s will certainly reduce stress on the cord and hopefully prevent breakage. I love the 10 foot cord that allows me to use the cords in bed and my recliner with ease.I haven’t any issues other users have reported but I just received the cords.

I just paid off my iPhone 7 and was suddenly unable to recharge my phone sufficiency. Imagine my surprise (NOT!). At $ 1,000.00 I refuse to buy a new iPhone. I looking into sending my phone in for repair but it would cost $ 370.00. I was almost ready to bite the bullet and buy a new phone. I have never had success with braided charge cords in the past so I was very wary but I knew I could count on Amazon’s return policy if I was disappointed. I bought this charge cable as a last resort and have not regretted it for a moment. It works great!!! I will be buying this cord from now on & giving them as gifts too!!

Unreliable. I constantly have to clean an reseat the connector. Misleading description. “MFI certified” implies that the connected device will recognize the cable as a valid power source. It doesn’t. Junk.

As many other reviewers commented here, the cables eventually stop working. For the price, I suppose it balances out. 3 10' cables for a low price...you do get what you pay for I suppose. For me, one cable lasted about 4 months, but then the other two went out within the next 45 days. All 3 were used semi-regularly - one bedside, one in the living room, and one at work - and the bottom line is they aren't reliable. Would I buy it again? Maybe. If I buy a 3-pack again that's effectively $25 for "3" cables to last the combined duration. Not ideal, but not the end of the world.

I ordered the 3 pack and unfortunately after a couple of months of use the first cord stopped working so I had to move onto the second one. Hopefully I don’t have to move onto the third one anytime soon.

1/3 of our cables stopped working after a month. The other two still work, but we need three working cables. This is the replacement set, as the same thing happened with the first set we bought, but that one broke after a week or less.

I purchased the 3 pack of 10ft long cables. None of them worked! Absolutely junk! Don’t waste your time and money on this horrible product.
