I am amazed that a pocket field guide on Crane Display even exists. Thank you. The content is concise, yet thorough. You don't have to be a seasoned birder to understand the text. The layout is intuitive. The photographs are risp and include detail poses as well as action shots. This guide is a great value for the money.

This I s a lovely guide to Sandhill Cranes. I purchased it as a birthday card for my friend in the Midwest who lives in Sandhill crane country. Now I want one, too! I am embroidering a Sandhill crane scarf. The pictures have been so helpful in designing my birds.

Very nice laminated, folding reference guide. Waterproof, durable. A bit awkward for pockets, but rides in cargo and back pockets as long as you don’t mind it sticking out. Rides nicely in the inner pocket of my rain coat..

They come in Feb, leave in Nov. They make a lotta noise, are lovely to watch, are 2 million years old, have funny features, and brighten our fields so we learn what we can about them. They are our neighbors we share the planet with and we enjoy being theirs!

This is a handy pocket guide listing crane behaviours. It is waterproof. I teach university level courses in wildlife ecology, and I cover wildlife behaviour. I recommend this to my students.Anyone can use it. The pictures are easy to follow. Cranes display many behaviours, including dancing, and this guide will teach you to recognize different moves and what they mean.

This is a nicely photographed guide to Crane behavior. It is simple, clear and a helpful adjunct to viewing these wonderful birds. It is done in a plastic that is basically weather proof, so you don't have to worry about getting it wet or dirty.
