And the award for the strangest fault in an Amazon product goes to...The strange popping sound that started waking me up in the middle of the night led me to learn far more about the minutia of clay and ceramic casting than I ever wanted to know. Maybe it was a one-in-a-million flaw, but I eventually had to get rid of this thing because air pockets in the ceramic endlessly caused a loud cracking, sort of popping sound to come from the planter. It took me a few months to figure out that it was the planter, and a few more days to ensure that it was indeed the planter and I wasn't just going crazy. I kept the wood stand, but tossed the cursed ceramic pot. Like I said, it might happen to one in a million pots, but it happened to mine. Do with this what you will.

PROSI love the design since there aren't many other options like this other than a 12 inch pot from West Elm which is like three times the price. It's also a nice height off the ground and the pot is very stable in the stand since the pot has an inner dip that fits perfectly inside the base.CONSIt seems all of the ceramic pots are defective. I put in for an exchange and three out of three pots have had a horribly annoying chirping popping noise. It must be air bubbles in the coating on the ceramic pot. This kills any positives since I cannot keep them due to the annoying noise. My experience with the quality control on the finish and sizing is also inconsistent. The top of the pot is not a uniform circle and it can have a difference close to a half inch in diameter from the smallest to largest. It's a weird size overall and very hard to find a plastic liner pot that will fit inside it. Most plants would fit better in a 10" pot but they don't make that as an option.

I LOVE this planter! I’ve seen so many of these planters on Amazon, but this one is really superb, especially for the price! I have a tall plant in it and it’s holding great. I wasn’t expecting it to be this high quality but I am really impressed by this product! I bought a second one because I love it so much!

The entire ensemble is cute and large from afar. But, you look closely and you see all the flaws in the pot. It is discolored, glaze has dripped all over the pot unevenly, it has unsightly seems along one side. It's also got a few spots that have small air bubbles holes. With these defects, almost $45 is too much to spend on this item.

I really wanted this plant pot and stand to work but it doesn’t. The ceramic cracking / popping sound is real and the most annoying thing. Had I not read the reviews first I would have thought I was losing it. I had a replacement order sent and the second one does the same thing (as other people mentioned). You can see visible imperfections and cracks that were glazed over in the pot. It’s not the most sturdy plant stand (I have large dogs) but the popping and cracking sound a few times an hour really doesn’t help. The first wooden stand wasn’t even and wobbled, the second one at least didn’t wobble. The ceramic sounds like it’s going to fall apart at any moment.

I absolutely LOVE this planter. I ended up buying another one. It’s reasonably priced. The color is rich and beautiful. The planter was packaged well and the legs were easy to assemble. I’ve gotten so many compliments. I wish it had a drainage hole.

I love these mid century modern style planters. This one fits in nicely with my decor. It’s large enough to hold a big plant, but sleek in design so it doesn’t overwhelm the space. And, the price on this pot plus planter is outstanding! I highly recommend it.

I searched days to find the perfect planter that came with the stand as well. This is it! It’s beautiful and looks very expensive! The price on this is perfect, I’m so glad I found this. It saved me so much money compared to the hundreds of other options on amazon.
