Sterling 7mm Accessory Cord (Black, 50)

Work well as climbing accessory cord. Has a good feel, not too stiff, limp, or soft.

I was disapointed because I ordered the rope depicted (red and blue) and marked blue. When it came it was blue and black. The product itself was good quality.

I chopped this into two 20ft sections and one 10ft.20ft sections I make into quad anchors for top roping or multipitching.The 10 ft is auxiliary and will probably be a PAS.It's certainly overkill for the purpose it serves, but I like having a thick 7mm cord in front of me when I'm straight hanging off rock.

Interesting that no where in the description or on Sterling's website does it say what the cord is made from. The packaging it came in stated nylon core and nylon sheath.

Already used it to set a quad anchor for a top roping session. No issues and the rope is easy to work with. Will buy this again if I ever need more.

I love Stirling rope this cordage no exception. Great cord, very soft and holds knots well.

color is not as advertised.

Soft, bendable, reliable. Way better than the Sterling FLEX 8 mm cord which, by the way, is NOT flexible/soft--it's like foil.
