Perfect length as a personal tether for climbing
I hadn’t been able to see the 42” length in person before purchasing, but fortunately it ended up being the perfect length for a personal tether for climbing. You can slide the line through the plastic sleeve to adjust the shorter loop to the perfect length so you can girth hitch it to your harness and have as much usable material for the adjustable end of the Purcell. It’s also much less bulky than a tied loop. All in all, a great route to go if you’re looking for a Purcell Prusik to use as a personal tether.
