Bought the 59" x 47" to protect my wood floors beneath my extremely large bird cage. We really needed 2, but hesitated due to the cost......I should have bought 2. This mat is awesome! It had just enough "traction" on it to keep the cage from sliding around, and it's MUCH easier to clean than the floors. PLUS, you can't even see it unless you're looking for it. I put a gallon milk jug next to the cage so see how large it it and how it looks against a wooden floor.

We needed a flat hardwood floor protector for my at-home office area during COVID-19 quarantine. This is exactly what I needed: thin, lays flat, works perfectly. The surface has just the slightest amount of pattern so it isn't slippery. I said to my husband that this is an example of when sometimes the "cheaper" item is the best solution. More expensive floor protectors may be thicker, but that wouldn't have worked for our needs (didn't want a "lip" to trip over, as my office is in a cubby off a hallway), and more expensive models take some time to lay flat. This one quickly uncurled and is perfect. It is so great, we purchased a second one for my husband when he started WFH.

I was a little skeptical about buying this mat because I tend to read the 1* and 2* reviews before buying a product like this. Most of the reviews will tell you that this is too thin, it's flimsy, and it doesn't stay flat. Every one of these statements, I found to be false. The mat arrived in a tightly rolled box and it was a lot smaller than I thought it would be. When I removed it from the box, I found that the material was pretty thick and well made. There weren't any cracks or anything of that nature to be found on the mat and once i laid it down on the floor, it slowly started to flatten out. In less than 30 minutes from the time I took it out of the box, placed it on the floor, positioned it, and finally put my chair on top of it, I had a perfectly flat chair covering the spot where that one splinter was constantly stabbing me in my foot. Overall, this is a great mat and is priced reasonably well for the size.

I followed the directions of letting it stay rolled up overnight to get to room temperature. Then I unrolled it and put some weights at the corner for the day. That night it was perfectly flat. So yes, it may take patience to not just take it out and lay it down, but this mat is awesome if you have patience!

I purchased 3 of these floor mats to protect our laminate flooring. 2 of them were used on roller chairs for 2 computers and the other on a roller chair in my art studio. The fit and size of these mats are perfect. The only reason why I did not give a 5-star rating was that the mat slides around after a few hours of use and has to be manually adjusted and put back where you intended it to be. What SHOULD have been done was to "mold in" little textured items under EACH corner to act as friction devices to prevent slippage.

I cant be happier with this. Exactly what I desired. I ordered the 59"x47" size and it is PERFECT size as it covers the floor space for ample chair space AND covers all four legs of my desk which I wanted. It grips floor so well and indeed is VERY transparent with a no odor. It also does have a slight texture that is great for traction control and smooth glide. Lastly it seriously repells dirt/water beads up etc. I cant even place my house slippers on it without dirt markings so forget about your outside shoes. That may sound bad but it's amazing because it brushes right off versus absorbing which over time would mean a nasty mat. I put 4 star for "lightweight" merely because my size being so big was quite heavy in box/rollout but once on ground its thin& flat. Great buy! Check your desired sizing for the space and get one!

These work exactly how you'd expect.I've had some protective mats that would start to crumble and shatter with long term use.I've had these for about a year now, and so far they have worked flawlessly.I would definitely recommend.

I’m very happy with this mat. It’s a good size for my small desk. I left some heavy objects on it over night to flatten out and it was flat by the next day.
