Had this indicator for two years now it worked fine until all of a sudden it won’t repeat any more the dial is all over the place doesn’t really make sense but for the price I guess I’ll buy another one.

Great little compact indicator.

I scoured Amazon looking for a small face dial indicator and finally found this one. The 1-1/2" dia. face is perfect for my application but even better the quality is outstanding. No plastic parts and the inner workings are almost entirely made out of brass. The operation is very smooth. The total travel is .312 though it is considered to be a .250 travel indicator. The picture does not show it but there is a standard 1/4" dia. mounting lug on the rear.

Not a starrett, but a very nice indicator for the money. Got the job done.

I made a tool holder adapter for the quick change post on my lathe which makes this small indicator very handy for indicating things in.

I used this product to replace a broken Dial Indicator on my guitar setup tool, This was a perfect replacement, only needed to remove the internal spring and attach the bronze tip from the broken tool.
