SPOT Ethical Shaggy Plush Ferret with Rattle and Catnip Cat Toy

It has become a game to find this realistic rodent. It has scared me a few times. Lol

The media could not be loaded.  Katniss LOVED this. She has some Dollar Tree ferrets that she lives and she has a favorite of that. I realllly needed some type of back up, and I haven’t seen them I. A long time at the store. So I bought her this, basically because it has a furry tail. She likes that. It also rattles when shook. It is very sturdy. I stepped in it by accident and it sounded like it crushed and ruined the rattler. It didn’t. It rattles fine. And as you can see in my pics and video, it’s a fun toy for cats. Highly recommended

Must be the rabbit fur. I've never seen a kitten love a toy so much. My little tortie gal tosses this thing high into the air, pounces on it, chews on it, kicks at it with her hind feet, carries it in her mouth like a hunter...she brings it everywhere with her ...including the closet where she likes to hang out. Unfortunately, she got it stuck under the door and when she pulled it out, a big flap of fur was stripped off the hard plastic body underneath. I guess the hard plastic body is for the beads inside to rattle against. Even though it's half bald, now...dragging it's sad fur flap, she still loves it. Well worth getting another new one, fully coiffed. I'm thinking of stitching a soft bodied, stuffed rabbit fur critter for my little gal...no glue necessary. I don't think she's after the rattle. I think it's the fur that she loves.

It's hard to find cat toys that don't contain real fur (ugh), but mine loves this. He carries it around the apartment in his mouth and loves the rattle noise it makes when he drops it. The tail has come off about three months in, but that was after a very over-zealous battle my kitty had with it, and it hasn't affected how much he plays with it now. It's not very real-looking, which I like because if it were, I'd probably have a heart attack every time I saw it, thinking it was an actual rat.

I have cats and bought this hoping someone would claim it. It was not played with much and now only one cat grabs it every now and than. I had to move it so we wouldn't trip. Maybe it's just my cats, after all they are all different.

When I ordered this, the description and reviews described real rabbit fur. It is no longer real fur, this is definitely synthetic.The nose and eyes are hard plastic balls attached to plastic barbs! Definitely not something you want your cat eating. I pulled them off easily, so a cat could ingest them. The ears are little chunks of felt that easily come off, not glued just shoved into holes in the main toy, and are not great for cat stomachs, either.And the fake fur! It sheds!!! So much!!! The fur shed and dust on the paper in the photo is just from setting it on the paper and petting the toy a few times. It may not shed as much as my actual cat, but dang is it a mess. Probably don’t want your cat ingesting that much synthetic fur, especially if they like to lick toys.On the good side, it is a great size, but I won’t be buying it again. Just too much mess and some sharp parts.

I bought a gray version of this 6 years ago and was hoping this would be the same size. It's much, much smaller, so maybe it's a different brand. Either way, the cats still love it, so not worth reviewing poorly for the size.

I should have bought more than just the one. I literally have to let my three cats take turns with it ! It's better than wasting money on cat toys that they won't play with. There is something about this toy, the furriness, I think, that my cats play. They carry it around and toss it around as tho it were real. Don't hesitate. Buy one !! Your cats will love it !

cat loves this thing, especially if I hide it under a sheet or blanket with just the tail sticking out. has lasted a few weeks without damage

My older kitties love this, and bring it to me every night.... The kitten likes the look of it, but it is too big for him yet.

These were played with for a short time before becoming bored doing their own interactions with the play animal.
