These things are a lifesaver. I get cold feet when I'm sitting in front of my computer for days on end (because that's all I do), and these things make me forget all about my "cold feet" (but like, literally). The battery life is great, they are warm enough, even on the lowest setting (I bough nice and big slippers for these, too), and they really get the whole foot warm, despite just working on the bottom of my feet. My biggest gripes are that these took a bit of finagling to get into the shoes that I use them with, and I had to use a bigger size shoe for these than I normally wear because these take up a bit of space. Also, the battery packs are a bit of a pain to deal with, but the included straps work well enough in holding them in place, I just wouldn't go running with them on (actually, I have and they kept falling out, so...). Oh, and a random other gripe I have is that they dry out my feet pretty hard. I have to lotion up periodically so I don't get cracks, but that's an issue with any heating product, not just these guys. Overall, these are probably one of my favorite purchases I have ever made, and I would not want to live without them, anymore.

This review is for the insoles, not the socks. The insoles heat up well, almost too well and hold up to a long winter of wear and tear. On the high setting I can get about 8-10 hours of use. Be aware that the batteries for these and are lithium based so recharging them will take most of the overnight. I like them and seem to be good quality for the value. Will see what happens when next winter comes.
