Perhaps I should have done a bit more research on this, but this one went straight to the trash. The piece that secures around the door knob was way too small for my door. Buyers pay close attention to the description to make sure this is right for you. I seen another version with an adjustable belt in liew if the hard plastic wrapper that this one has, but can't seem to find it online.

Had my doubts but this think works great. I was easy to put on and now I feel like my granddaughter is safe from slamming her finger in the door.

We bought this as a safety gift for our friends, and they are very happy with how much safer their house is because of this. Very easy to use, and will purchase more for other doors, and nieces/nephews.
