These necklaces have pendants hand carved from tagua nuts, and adjustable cords measuring 14” to 26” long. The pendants range between 1" to 2" across, and have a young tagua nut bead at the top. A necklace weighs approximately 10 grams. Tagua nuts are harvested in South America from the tagua palm, also known as ivory palm or ivory-nut palm. This fair trade product helps reduce the demand sustaining the illegal ivory trade, and these handmade collectibles are environmentally friendly and meant to be treasured.
