Yet another piece of equipment with the Sportstech Standard of Excellence.
The PBX300 push-up handles were delivered very fast, very nicely packaged and were exactly as described, fulfilling all the promises from Sportstech. Strong, professional standard of construction, the colour exactly like the picture, extremely easy to put together, working perfectly first time. The silicone grips are thick, soft, seriously anti-slip and very comfortable. the handles are very steady on different surfaces, including the thick rubber flooring of the gym which has some yield. Not to mention, of course, that they are very elegant looking.

The best & most comfortable push-up bars I've tried or owned
There is a temptation to dock one star off for the price. Also, for my hands, medium size for gloves, my palms roughly measure 9.5 cm across x 10.5 cm wrist to base of fingers, 4 cm wide would likely be the perfect fit - these are comfortable. The circumference/diameter, 3.5 cm wide, is the best out of over half a dozen such push-up handles I've tried or owned, ranging from around a tenner to twenty or so quid. Yes, it's pricey, and I gulped and my wife wasn't happy, but I am glad to have these and use them daily.I have carpal tunnel hell in both wrists, small hands and small wrists, and they have a tendency to dislocate when swinging an axe, which then requires me to hang from the rafters to get them back into place. No doubt typing and other potential wrist stresses have contributed to this and other pains and discomfort, other stresses and high impact activity like chopping wood and chainsaws. I've chosen to manage this myself rather than turning to the NHS for offered operations. So far that's working, including mummy-like sleep, hands in line with forearms and flat, literally at times cross-chest. However, when it comes to some exercises, ones with the hands flat against the floor, like push-ups & the plank, there's a problem - bent wrists under stress! That's where this lovely design comes into play...For me and my hands they're a near perfect fit. Their gripped width, fuller than others I've tried and owned, is more comfortable and has much better weight distribution than those others. I do realize that compared to some others they're four times the price, and, as already said, I did consider dropping a star, but I'm so glad to have found these and to use them the full five stars remain despite the high price...A rough approximation - - -12+ cm = handle length (the coloured cushioning)3.5 cm = handle width compressed or uncompressed (the cushioning is firm)
