Terrific pagers with a lot of programmable features.
Our department recently switched over to Unication G1s from the Minitor V, and over the last several months we've been very happy. Nearly every aspect of the pagers is programmable, from the channels to the alert tones and backlight colors. There's so many things to program, I haven't had a chance to test them all yet even after several months and about 25 pagers. They're also extremely durable. They withstand drops, being submerged in water, and nearly any other kind of abuse you can hurl at it.Things I like:Extremely programmableEntirely waterproof. Not water resistant. Water proof.Fantastic durability.The pager automatically records dispatch info for a call, and a button at the top allows you to replay the most recent. This is a huge help when you are in the other room, or forget the address en-route.Things I don't like:The metal clip on the back cuts into your skin. There are cloth holsters you can buy that feel more comfortable, and we prefer that.We had one pager out of 25 that broke after a drop, but the manufacturer is taking responsibility for it and replacing it for free.The replay button at the top is really sensitive, and gets set off any time you bend over and press it with your hip. This is easily fixed with the programmer, however, by adjusting the setting to hold down the button for 2 seconds before it replays.Overall, any issue we've had with the pagers is fixable. After testing these for nearly a full year, I'd be happy to recommend these to any nearby departments.

They have has issues with Amazon but the product is great. I would recommend going online to Pike County Communications and buying directly from them.
