Great Lupin Flour!
I have been searching for organic lupin flour for quite some time, but there is really none in the US, so I have been purchasing lupin flour from Europe which are more abundant in certified organic but the shipping fees are high and it takes a long time for the items to arrive in the US. Randomly I came across this brand on Amazon and was so thrilled to learn that they don't use any pesticides or herbicides! Other than that, the taste is great unlike other lupin flour that I have tried before which are mostly on the bitter side. Best of all, the carb count is only 1g per serving after substracting the fiber! I made waffles today and it tasted naturally sweet! Highly recommend this product who wants to give lupin flour a try!

I like it
I was using Lupina brand...they were out of stock so I tried this one. I think it's pretty much the same as far as flavor and texture. I did not find it bitter however, I don't use lupin as a stand alone. I put together a baking mix using Lupin flour with oat fiber 500, unflavored whey protein, vital wheat gluten and some of that 'lonjevity fiber flour' (which I'm only trying to use up, that stuff is nasty!) Also Xanthan gum and a bit of psyllium for more texture. If a recipe calls for almond flour (which I've stopped using) I use 1/2 quantity of mix in place of almond flour (same applies to any nut flour or reg AP flour). Works great in any application I've tried. If anyone is interested in the proportions of mix, feel free to ask. In any event...I found this product is just as good as the other brand, plus you get a larger amount that I don't use up so darn quickly.

It’s for me!
The same as the previous brand of lupin flour which I can’t seem to find anymore. I like that this is a larger quantity so I don’t have to buy multiple bags. Lupin has a definite flavor. I personally like it, but I doubt it’s for everyone. I’d recommend using this in combination with another flour until you decide how you like it. As a vegan keto, I did 50/50 with almond flour but now use it straight. It’s very similar in properties to chickpea flour and absorbs a decent amount of liquid. Don’t try to sub it 1:1 for all purpose flour! I couldn’t find recipes online so have been experimenting and creating my own. Love the lupin bean properties and hope we start seeing it more!! I’ll keep buying this flour as long as I can!

Can use to make a sourdough starter
Making my first loaf of Sourdough bread with the Lupin flour. The flour is very nice and does work as a starter. This first time i am using yeast with the flour. I want to make sure that it rises. So far, it looks good in the bread machine!

wonderful product
I have no idea how this product gets anything less than 5 stars, it isn't bitter, it bakes crackers perfectly and isn't full of potato starch and other ingredients that are in a lot of lupin bean flour on line. If you are Keto or watching your carbs for other health reasons, you will not be disappointed in this flour, it has a unique taste, and I will buy from this source often!
