33 Feet 18K Gold Stainless Steel Flat Cable Chains Link Spool Bulk with 20 Lobster Clasps and 50 Jump Rings for Pendant Necklace Jewelry DIY Making

I was going to use this to replace some old chains that were worn/broken and to make some new jewelry with, however, when I opened up the package and started to unwind the length of chain I needed, I began to find various short lengths of chain that had been cut and then held together with a small twisted wire. I then laid out the entire chain to measure it and found that several feet of material was missing and broken into pieces, before being wrapped back up so that the clipped and tied sections were hidden on the spool. I was very disappointed to find that this chain was not what I had paid for and that I was unable to use it or have the full length of chain that I needed.

I bought the chain to repair an old necklace I had. I’ve been wearing the necklace for maybe over a month. The chain has kept its color. Usually bad metal changes to a blue dingy color. This is doing well and is holding up nicely.

This chain link is so impossibly small that it takes about 20/30 minutes to get one jump ring or fine wires through the links. Because a lot of the links are just too small to thread anything through this makes proper spacing impossible. The chain itself is pretty but I need to be able to put jump rings or wire through the links, so for me this chai was a fail.

Absolutely love this chain. Made several necklaces for essential oils. Easy to work with and seems very strong. Love the closures as they are not as small as some. Chain has the shine to make it look rich and matches the oil cages I put on them. Would purchase again.

The chain itself seems to be well made, and the clasps are nice. The only issue I have is that the full length is not continuous. On my roll, about 16-inches in, there was a jump ring connecting the next section, and then another 29-inches in, there was another. Further down, there was a twisted wire connecting another section. I didn't go any further than that, but I'm sure there are likely more. It's not a huge deal-breaker, since the chain will be used in typical necklace lengths; however, it will make me have to plan out some of the breaks/length, in order to limit waste. Definitely something you may need to know if you are requiring unusually long lengths, or don't have the desire to plan out each break.

I received exactly what I was looking for for my fashion jewelry designs. It's a great perfect weight for some of my heavier statement necklace designs. I would highly recommend this product.

It is almost the only place I can find the 1mm chain. Nice golden color rather than yellowish color. Great quality. Come in a spool that do not tangle at all. I've finished the whole spool. The only down side is there are a couple feets of the chain that the jump rings coming with the spool won't fit. The jump rings sold separately for this chain specifically also worked. If you want to use beading wire, 26 gauge wire definitely fit into the chain. Most of the time, the 24 gauge wire also fit.

Everything is fantatstic, this is definitely my "go to" for chain! The lobster clasps are great and seem to be genuine stainless (unlike others on Amazon), as well as the jump rings (which are large enough and sturdy). The chain itself is fantatstic, strong and shiny! :)
