We are trying to dementia proof our home for my mother and there isn't much out there for dementia patients. This works well and was easy to install and open by an adult or someone who can process how to open it. We were trying to keep my mother from unplugging all the cords from the wall. She will occasionally be persistent enough where she manages to tug on the cord until it wiggles out of the socket. If you are buying it to baby proof it is good for safety and you can even fit a plug in air freshener inside of it and still get the scent to cone out because of the holes (mom would unplug them and flip the upside down so all the oil would run out). It protrudes a bit but fits well over a regular sized outlet and is durable.Does what it says it will do.

This has held up well in our toy room. Easy install and cover remover. The toddlers have been unsuccessful on removing it too.

I bought different one (a cheaper one) that said it was for large adapters, but it was not. This one fits a large sideways adapter just fine! It is easy to install and open up. Immediately after installation, it doesn't feel like it's going anywhere either. Perfect for toddler proofing my son's room!

It’s beautiful however it’s too bulky. I must say it does do its job. It is kid safe. I removed it to place it else where and the adhesive didn’t work well. I just need to buy more of the adhesive grip to use it else where. The adhesive is strong but there was no extra adhesives if you need to move it else where.

I initially bought 2 of them to try them and I think I currently have 6 in the house. Perfect balance of toddler safety and practicality to keep using your outlets.

I have an old home where outlets are a rare commodity, and two new-fangled items that I can't move that are plugged into an outlet that is in the WORST place for a very curious, very smart cat to notice frequently. And those new-fangled items have some CHUNKY plugs, the kind that have a USB cable to plug in at some nonsensical angle. I tried two other versions of this kind of product, after taking meticulous measurements, and neither fit - the angle of that cord dangle was juuuuuust outside the tolerance of the other models.But this one? A WINNER! The ability to pick your angle is great, and being able to adhere the frame to the wall, instead of using the outlet plate itself as your anchor, means you can adjust the placement to allow for those weird adaptor angles. I also really appreciate the ventilation. I don't think things would be bad without it, but it's still nice (and looks nice, actually).I will tell you, if you're looking at this, it's BIG. All these things are, so no matter what, you're getting a big box that's going to stick out of your wall. Just be aware before placing it behind furniture, for example.(I have a friend with a baby on the way, so the other covers got donated to the "don't kill the baby" cause and I don't regret the purchases)

Adhesive has started to come off after 6 months. Disappointed as it was hard to find a larger outlet cover and the size of this perfectly fit out needs.

I have a 1 year old at home that is fascinated by cords and plugs. So, it was important to find something that would stop him from playing with the outlets and prevent him from pulling the plugs out. Unfortunately, plugs nowadays range in sizes (some are large, some are sideways, some are bent at weird angles, etc.). This was the only cover that I found that fit over all plug types. The other covers I tested did not fit over plugs that were sideways or on the larger size. I am not a fan of how bulky it is but there is honestly no way around that. It was easy to install, just make sure the wall is clean to insure the adhesive sticks well. Currently, it seems to hold up well to a curious 1 year old, but only time will tell how well it holds up as he gets older.
