Bali Mango Type - Premium Fragrance Oil - 30ml

I like the scent, but either the scent needs to be a little stronger or last longer--one of the two. That said, given the price, I'm impressed. I added 8-10 drops to inexpensive unscented 2oz body lotion to get a lightly fragrant body lotion instead of buying a name brand at about $40. The 30ml bottle of oil will likely make 4-6 more bottles of fragrant lotion. $2 for my homemade version of coconut lime verbena lotion versus $40 for the brand name I'm trying to imitate--I'm happy with my $2 bottle.

The people who are saying this is not what musk smells like or that this is not “real musk” don’t understand musk as a scent. “Real musk” is an oil produced by animals, that’s the musk oil that was popular in the 70s. However it has no scent when it’s in the bottle, and it produces the smell by interacting with your body chemistry. That being said, if you are using it as an ingredient in perfumes it will be inconsistent and therefore very difficult to use. This is a synthetic musk scent, so it is not an animal product, but it will be consistent. Musk is a slightly floral scent, but it is a dark, spicy, warm scent. There are many variations of musk though, so synthetic musk scents will vary widely, white musk is lighter and more floral, but this is on the earthier side, cheap but good. I really would not wear this undiluted or without combining with other scents.
