We are so pleased with our rangehood. We installed this item a little over a month ago when our kitchen was redone and it is working beautifully. It looks exactly like the picture, and there was no damage to the product ( ex. Stretches or dents) as the packing was very secure.The touch pad is very easy to activate. So easy in fact that when I'm cleaning it I sometimes turn in on. There are 3 fan settings, but I find I mostly use the lowest one except for when we are frying fish. The lights on the unit are all very gorgeous and make our backsplash look like a waterfall. The lights also come in handy with seeing where our burners are on the cooktop.The price coupled with the look and function made this an excellent deal for us!

This is a very elegant vent hood and dramatically improves the look of the kitchen but here are some installation drawbacks that I discovered and impromptu solutions that you might want to consider if you buy this product.The directions for installation are really quite pathetic and there are some design flaws that make installation harder than it needs to be.The duct inside the hood is a cheap flexible aluminum which in the long run is a bad idea because grease will build up in it. Furthermore, it is 5 7/8" diameter which means it won't fit over a standard 6" duct to the roof. Trust me, I struggled with it for 30" before deciding it was not worth it.You're better off getting 6" starter collar (which you will need since the attachment to the hood itself is 5 7/8" (see pics) You can then directly connect a 6" sheet metal duct to it and run it to the roof vent. Makes for a cleaner and more sturdy install. Use metal tape to seal off the connection to the hood and in my case the transition from 6" to 7" (because the roof vent was already 7")Second. the bracket that is designed to attach to the stainless collar only has tapped holes for the screws on only one end. If the holes had been slotted it would have been fine, but as it stands they are plain tapped screw holes. This poses a problem if you are trying to get the vent collar all the way to the ceiling. It is incredibly hard to drill holes near the ceiling (1/2" away from the ceiling) to attach the bracket. I inverted the bracket so the holes to attach the bracket could be drilled a little lower down, but I had to drill/tap additional holes in the other end of the bracket, so I could attach the collar.As other readers had mentioned the lights are a little dim, and they are 3000K which make them more blue than the typical 2700K which is more daylight. If I can find replacement lights that are higher lumen output and 2700K I will replace them.Aside from that the product works well and looks great

It looks great, but not the best of quality. Had to return the first one because the light panel didn't work. I do recommend it because of the value for the price, but know that you are getting what you pay for.

I bought this last year to put in my new kitchen.I thought the price seemed very good and even though I would not be able to install it until later in the year I bought it. I installed it in November of 2016 after a kitchen remodel and really thought it looked very nice. I had many compliments on the look of this vent and thought I had made a great purchase.I love to cook and installed this to be vented outside to lessen the cooking smells in the home. I used the vent quite often and thought it did a good job considering the price. (I paid quite a bit more than the current price)Fast forward a few months and I was cooking some fresh tomato sauce from my garden tomatoes. It had to cook for a couple of hours ,so I put the fan on high to keep the steam from the pot under control. I noticed that the glass canopy was incredibly wet underneath after just a short time ,so I wiped it off with a cloth and continued cooking my sauce. I had to wipe it down several times during cooking and when my beautiful tomato sauce was finally finished,I turn off the fan and walked away for a moment. To my horror,I walked back and saw water literally pouring from the lights on each side of the fan. It was too late to save my sauce,but I was very concerned that if I touched anything I would be electrocuted.I waited until the water quit dripping and then pulled the LED lights down and more water poured out. I was unable to turn off the lights or the fan and I think the board is probably ruined that controls these functions.I have this on the same breaker as a couple of kitchen lights and need to turn off the breaker to get the lights to turn off.This is not a safe fan/duct system and if you do any serious cooking beware! You will ruin your food and risk getting shocked to boot.This company has no way to reach them and I do not know what to do.

I was building a home and wanted a "different" look than the norm. I searched my favorite online store and came across this hood. I absolutely love it. The look is clean and contemporary. I paired many unique pieces around this hood(the pot filler was also purchased from Amazon). I get many compliments when someone see it for the first time. The hood comes with 2 pieces for the chimney but I had the chimney custom cut because my ceilings are 12 feet high and I wanted one clean look. You will not go wrong with this purchase. Also, the price is beyond great. Most people think I paid lots for the hood.

This is a really nice fan for the price. The stainless steel and glass are very attractive. Built in is an auto off feature that turns the fan off "2-3 minutes" after you press the power button. Its biggest downfall are the led lights that mostly light the wall, not the food, and the very pure-white color of the lights. They remind me of hid lamps on high end cars. The white color of these lights will probably not match your undercabinet lights, which tend to have a yellow-ish cast.
