Makes gardening a breeze and a delight!
I live in the mountains of central Mexico and although I have lots of land it is all stone below a few inches of topsoil. Combined with my raised bed gardening, this book has made gardening so much easier, more fruitful (that’s really what vegetable gardening is all about!), and more beautiful! I also enjoy Amy's Facebook page and website getbusygardening.

Comprehensive, Colorful, Full of Unique Ideas
This was one of the most enjoyable gardening books I've ever read (and I read a lot of them!). In the beginning of the book, Amy gives the basics on vertical gardening -- perfect for a beginner. Then she shares unique vertical trellis and container ideas full of photos and my favorite, step-by-step instructions for how to build each one. Whether one has a larger garden space or only uses containers on a patio (and anything in between), this book is full of inspiring ideas that both beginners and seasoned gardeners alike will enjoy. I can't wait to begin trying some of my favorite ideas myself.

Great info, great photos, great instruction
Haven't read the entire thing yet, but even just glancing through the book, I was surprised on all of the colored pictures and specifics on how to build vertical garden trellis'. I heard about this book from a different podcast about gardening and was interested to see different designs other than looking on Pinterest. Not only does she give a bunch of different options on how to do a vertical option, but even tells you what materials you will need and how to put it together if you are building them yourself. So happy I found this book!

Planning a kitchen garden, planting tips & supports
Love! This book has excellent planting guides and veggie care tips (I've grown flowers for cutting but not veggies), as well as many vertical support projects (for every need, budget and skill level). A wonderful book on getting started in a garden and also offers cleverly useful projects for the more skilled gardener. Can't wait to try Amy's vertical suggestions in my garden and maximize harvest and space. I really recommend this book, has many easy tips with step by step instructions and is filled with gorgeous color photography (not one black and white photo). Highly recommend this book.

Brain Food for Gardeners Going Vertical
So many ways to trellis and grow vertically. I appreciate the many photos and clever techniques — great fuel for the imagination. And the price is more than reasonable.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book
This is a very nicely written and illustrated book. It is what I wanted, something with ideas I could do myself. I came away with quite a few ideas, which was my purpose for purchasing.
