Inside Recess Favorite!
I purchased a set of castle blocks made by a famous NY toy store for a lot more money. When they turned out to be a favorite activity choice for my students, I knew I needed more blocks, but didn't really have the money to splurge on another set. When I found this set, I was skeptical but ordered them anyway. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they matched the brand name blocks so that the kids could seamlessly incorporate them into their castle building fun. The main difference is that the more expensive blocks seemed to be finished a little better, and were made out of higher quality wood. These blocks, along with a bag of plastic dragons and a toob of knights will fuel imaginations and keep kids coming back over and over.

Young Engineer
At first I didn’t like that it doesn’t come with instructions, but I thought my 8 year old grandson might not notice. First thing he said, “I can’t find the instructions.” I told him that he had to be creative and to use his imagination. He looked at the box cover picture and began building a castle. He told me that he did not need any help and that he could build things by himself. He now claims he wants to be an engineer.

Discovery Kids Set beats Devices!!
This was the second set of the Discovery Kids blocks I bought for my grandkids, ages 5 and 9, boy and girl. They absolutely love these blocks, and enjoy creating castles and forts now that they have a wide choice of materials. I would highly recommend... excellent quality and hours of old fashioned fun!

Buy these!
Absolutely buy these blocks! They are perfect and so much less expensive than many of the other brands out there. We bought them 12 years ago for my oldest and over the years and 5 kids later many pieces got lost so we just purchased another set! All of my kids ages 1-12 still love to create with them!

Gift for a four year old boy. He loves to build things with his wooden blocks. They are hours of fun for children of this age.

Good set, just to small.
Bought this set for the children, it's a good set but a bit small for the younger kids. As the package says, 4 +, that is absolutely correct, you would not want to get this for younger children.
