EcoAuto Windshield Repair Tool Kit to Fix Auto Broken Glass - Professional Large Crack Repair Tool Kit for Crack or Small Chip Scratch

I have a jeep renegade with the funky sillouette blackout around the edge. My insurance company wont do chip repair and wont approve an oem windshield so i gave this a go when I got a nice stone chip. First and foremost this is a well made kit and the suction cups stay put. Direction are clear and easy to follow. Despite my best efforts (even using a heat gun and a uv light as it was a colder cloudy day. This didnt do a lot to fill in the chip. Im going to try again when its warmer and sunny but I dont have high hopes. One other note the resin smells HORRIBLE. I slilled a little on my hands and despite washing with everything I could think of (incleding acetone, alcohol, industrial hand cleaner, kerosene) i could still smell this 2 days latter. Oh and it triggered a migraine for me so there is that. WEAR GLOVES!Update I tied a second go and it worked much better. Still can see the chip but it is a lot less noticable. Of course the smell gave me another headache but I did wear gloves and it helped a lot.

I owned an auto glass business for 23 years and designed, built, and sold windshield repair tools. This tool exceeded my expectations. The repair resin is also top shelf. The windshield repair on my car is virtually invisible. There is enough resin and curing film to do several repairs. Keep in my mind that I have many years of expertise at doing this so results will very.

I used this to repair a nickel sized bullet crack. After applying the treatment the crack looks better but I can still see some spider like lines. I followed the directions and then re-applied the treatment but I still see some crack lines.

I've used repair kits before, this kits resin is garbage. Didnt fill the cracks or chip very well. It was better than nothing, but this kit doesn't do as good as other kits I've used previously.

NOT WHAT IS PICTURED!!!!!It shows in the 4th picture, a close up of the inner threads. And it highlights it, it says, "Durable Metal Inner Teeth."Why they call them "teeth", and not threads, shows ignorance, incompetence, and misinformation.They are in fact NOT Metal. It is 100% Plastic!!!!I can only hope it doesn't break.It was the #1 reason I purchased this one.LIARS!!!!!

Stunned to work good idk if is completely gone but if not def not as noticeable use to stick out like soar thumb

It did not make chip disappear as well as I would have liked. Hopefully resin will be durable. Time will tell
