Where do I start without taking forever to communicate my disappointment... The first handful of pages: totally useless information about the husband-and-wife authors, which is lame and annoying. Then, the care information is broad and applied to air plants in general, not specific to each type of plant. The plant profiles are terribly brief, not systematic or logically organized, and many don't have photos or only have one, plus several popular plants are not even mentioned. There is so very little information on the plants and no description of how to distinguish them, so identification is made even more challenging and increases confusion and misunderstanding. A google search based on plant features is tedious, but actually less tedious than trying to extract any useful information from this book. In fact, all of the information in this book could be found with a quick internet search, and the information that people provide online is often more detailed and helpful. This book is actually kind of insulting... I get the feeling that the authors are basically just business people who saw an opportunity and threw together a brief outline for super simple-minded folk, had it made into a book, and hoped for the best financially. The way the book is written is bizarre too- It's unlike any book of this kind that I've ever read in the structure and style used... As a college student, I have to say they wrote this book in the exact same way a high school student would write a book report! It's as if they spent a few weeks doing research on something they originally knew nothing about (air plants), made an outline, and then reported their findings in the most brief and simplistic way possible. If this was a school paper by a teenager, I'd give them an A, but since this is supposed to be an informational book about air plants that should help adults learn more about the plants than they already know going in, I think this book is really pathetic. Way too much of the book is used for full-page photos and a large portion is design ideas, which they obviously ripped off of people on Pinterest. Save your money and don't bother with this book, it is a total scam. I know that it's tough because no good books on air plants really exist at this point, and it's a pain to google everything when it would be much more convenient to have physical access to an authoritative reference book written by an expert, but buying this book is not going to help. I don't mean to be hurtful to the authors or anything, I'm just being honest and sharing the information I wish I'd had before deciding to purchase this item.

Arrived timely. Full of pictures of the different varieties of air plants, which will be very helpfully since I am new to air plants and need a lot of help with care and selection. Highly recommend this book!

Very nice table book, easy reading; but lacks on organization. Would be nice if information was split up by type of air plant, and all the information for that type was in one chapter. Seems like everything is spread out, and you really have to search for what you are looking for.

This is one of the extreme few books out on Air Plants/Tillandias. Has some info on a few types but is more about decorating with them

Very nice product, but much, much larger than I anticipated so I cannot use them for my initial idea. But I will keep them and create another idea. This will (I hope) teach me a lesson about reading better and special attention to size description. Great item, though!

Very nice book both visually and full of information. Just added Air plants to my collection of plants and wanted to know more about them and their care.

I smell the fresh air of knowledge from this book of fresh air as I like to call it now.

This book not only looks good, but is very informative as well! And there are tons of creative design ideas.
