52 Uncommon Dates: A Couple's Adventure Guide for Praying, Playing, and Staying Together

My bad , but unfortunately this is a super duper Christian book which makes it difficult to relate to if you are an atheist. I just wanted some really cool adventure ideas for date night.

This is a great date idea book! We bought it for us-married almost 30 years. We were looking for some themed date ideas, etc. It was soooooo much more.....It provides a bible verse with each idea, conversation starters to go with each date, ideas for each theme, how to pray together in a specific area, and, wait for it....It has fun sexual suggestions that go with the themes!! It's a very healthy book for any age marriage. We plan on purchasing for our married children for Christmas. My husband has dog-eared almost every page! Lol ❤

However, even without those three, there are almost enough dates for one a week for an entire year. I especially like how each date is intentionally designed to help couples grow together spiritually, emotionally, and physically.52 Uncommon Dates is one I’ll be giving as wedding shower gifts in the future. A great marriage takes work, and regular dates are a key tool for strengthening marriages. I highly recommend this book to all couples whether they’ve been married just a few months or more than 50 years. There’s always more to learn about your spouse, and author Randy Southern helps facilitate growth in intimacy with these fun, interesting and intentional date ideas.

This book is amazing! My husband and I love the date ideas. Some are probably going to seem strange or even boring to you at first, but give them a try anyways! As two "right brain" people, we have loved how creative these dates are. Every date has turned out better than we expected and has brought great God-centered conversation and new perspective on each other as well as other people. Highly recommend!!

This book is very heavy on the Christian bible, however I found the approach to incorporating a spiritual element to each date a great way to connect and spark some deep conversation. I think my favorite parts are the sections in each date relating to a person's particular love language which can be very helpful and a good reminder to address them. We are not Christian, but are spiritual and understand the Christian religion and still found it as a useful tool to help take our dates to a more spiritual and mindful level.

It was good but many of the concepts were a little too heavily laden with theological (specifically Christian values). For some, this can prove alienating and distancing.I’d welcome a more secular approach.Having said that, I am happy that I bought the book and got exposed to the ideas. It was worthwhile food for thought.Maybe a follow up edition could combine the secular and religious perspectives (offer the basic and then augment with some secular insight)

I got this book for my boyfriend and I to help with our date nights. We haven't done any yet, but we looked through it and really enjoyed how each aspect had a love language, as well as a clear description. The "Dig Deep" section has many scriptures to look at and talk about which is awesome. It's so important after a day of focusing on one another, that you look to God and the blessings He's given you.

I loved every part of this book. The Bible verses and questions for each date and the original ideas. I gave it to my sister for her wedding and it was one of her favorite gifts.

Fun informative book. Dates you wouldn't consider with explanations as to why and thought provoking conversation. A very useful book.

Very good book and very creative for me and my wife to try fun cheap dates. Although specifically designed for an American audience It's still very relevant

Great ideas, well written and organized. Fun for those of us who have been married for a long while and still want excitement and to get to know our spouse even more!

Pretty common stuff here. Didn't feel like any of them were out of the ordinary or something I couldn't have thought of on my own.
