Worth every penny.
Something significant front end: I have an aftermarket dual fan shroud that is listed for two 12" fans. It came with two fans that were described as 12". They failed early and I replaced them with two more inexpensive 12" fans from Amazon. The flow was inadequate, so i bought a couple SPAL fans. Guess what? They are an inch bigger than the other two brands that I used and were, in fact, an honest 12". So I returned those and ordered these two 11" fans -- perfect fit! So measure the actual opening on your shroud and compare it to the measurements shown on the spalusa.com web site. The fans themselves are awesome. Previously, the car ran at 220 degrees or more in moderate weather without the A/C. With these the temp never goes over 180 even in triple digit heat with the A/C on. They are actually a little quieter than the much lower volume units I had before. I can't tell they are running when I'm in the car even with the top down.I rewired my fans with 10 ga. wire for a 40 amp relay and circuitbreaker for each fan. I also bought the fitted waterproof couplings for them. The wires could be spliced in, but I remove the radiator occasionally and the tight couplings are convenient for removal. They aren't cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Spal is the best
The media could not be loaded. This was at an excellent price. Got this for my old 90 Corrado. Mounted perfect on the radiator. I had 2 cheap 12" fans previously. This fan puts them to shame. Definitely won't have any cooling issues now. 2021 update: No cooling issues at all now with this fan. No creeping of the gauge either. Definitely know when it's running.

These Spal fans are hands down the best electric fans I have ever used
These Spal fans are hands down the best electric fans I have ever used. They are not too noisy and they pull a ton of air. With a knock off set of cheap fans my car was overheating with every drive, running around 240 degrees. I swapped to these fans and the car stays exactly at 180 degrees. They are pricey when compared to the cheap fans but you truly get what you pay for.

Powerful but need good grounds heavy gauge wire
An 11" spal H.O. fan can be identified by the amperage rating. The CFM is rated in actual use and is more accurate than competitors ratings. These fans can pull air through a 4 row radiator with an a/c condenser if sealed with a shroud.Use minimal 10 Guage wire and one ground per fan, not 2 into 1. The 11" fan performs as good as most competitors 12" or 13" fans because the motor is stacked high not wide. This allows for longer blades. So, an 11" spal H.O. fan may have a 4" blade equal to another brands 12" fan with 3.5" blades. Then, the motor has much more power than just about any other fan on the market. It also draws allot of power.I learned the hard way to wire this correctly. These need at least 13V (volts) to work well so if you have bad connection (crimp connectors, grounds, cheap relays) creating heat and losing voltage (voltage drop) then the fans will not work as well. Use a heavy duty relay (high amp) such as the Spal fan installation kit or a solid state main relay. One relay per fan.
