Nice Core Roof rack, poor straps and mounting hardware
All said and done after contacting the seller and receiving unsatisfactory feedback, the rating is appropriate for the service I received and what had to be done to get this set to meet expectations. I think my investments in correct-sized bolts and cambuckle straps would be nearly equal to the brand-named folding kayak roof racks. The bolts were too long and risked damaging the top of the car where there is glass. I used the rubber from the supplied straps but ultimately had to find, source Stainless Steel M8 1.25 pitch DIN carriage bolts in 60MM length for my flattened Explorer roof racks. This is not a hardware store item but you can find them on Amazon for $10-$15 range. I also declined replacement straps from the seller and upgraded to better cambuckle straps, again for $15-$20 range. (old ratchet style straps and OEM bolts in the photos). I do like the actual racks and they are good quality with nice padding and good range of motion. Easy to adjust.

So far so good!
Put these on a 2018 Nissan Rogue. They fold down nice and flat when not in use. We just used them on a 1.5 hour drive with 2 kayaks and they held up nicely, at highway speeds. The straps that come with them work well also. It takes literally 15 min or so to put 2 of them on. The only reason it took that long. I had to tighten them up as far as they would go since we have the flatter thin crossbars. The knobs are also hard to turn to tighten. Which is good since you don't want them coming lose on you later. I think they are a little pricey but compared to others with this quality I highly recommend them!

Hardware
Great racks well made, except for the rubbery plastic cover that fits over the tie down bolts. Once the bolts are on it won't fit, had to grind down the tops of the carriage bolts to get it on. Also the carriage bolts that come with the unit are too short, had to buy longer ones. Guess they work just fine on real thin aero style cross pieces. Otherwise real happy

Need to know how to get smaller brackets that are flush to my cross bars
So here it’s my situation, the bracket don’t reach around my 1996 Jeep cherokee bar, and I can’t buy the extra bars for this car because this vehicle along are flush to the top, what w’d you recommend?

Roof Racks
Very nice kayak rack. Definitely much heavier duty than the cheaper alternatives. I’m replacing my Thule hull-a-port so I decided to give this one a try. It seems to be very comparable in size and Strength for about half the price.

Great product that is worth the price
Well designed and built product. I bought two pairs and both kayaks ride well at highway speeds. Love the ability to fold the racks down so they clear my garage door on top of the SUV.

Great Product! Easy to Set up and Use.
Hooked up to me 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee very easily and they come with really real tie-down straps with a rubber buckle protector.
