Exceptional Guide To Anti-Aging and Autophagy, Immediately Useful
It may seem odd for a man to review this book since the primary audience is women but the book does two things exceptionally well for both sexes:1. Looks at the latest research in anti-aging and applies it in a usable way for anyone2. Explains autophagy in a way that anyone can understand and most importantly understand and implement the strategy to engage autophagy for themselves. If you are a woman, there is much that is very specific to women, hormones and more.Simply put autophagy is the process through which the body cleans cells and recycles what is left into new cell parts. Autophagy makes our bodies more efficient and effective at producing energy, slowing aging and reducing inflammation that may cause illness and disease. Glow 15 discusses the fastest ways to initiate autophagy for the best results. The autophagy information alone is worth the price of the book. The whole book looks at how we age and applies a great deal of current science to the problem of how to age more healthfully while reducing weight, important strategies for improving the most important markers of health and more. You'll find specific exercise routines, recipes, and supplementation recommendations to maximize your health.Sleep also plays a big role in the anti-aging and health recovery process and there is an in-depth look at both sleep and chronotype to understand how to maximize your sleep for restoration and recovery. There is a quick test to determine what your sleep chronotype is and you'll finally learn how much sleep your body needs. If you want to read a book that will do as much for your body and brain long term as it will for your waistline and overall well being today, this is the one book you should read. If you are a man and don't want to buy this for yourself, get it for your wife, girlfriend, or daughter and read it with them, there is much to learn here.

Hmmmm.... no.
Let me tell you a quick summary of what this book contains:- pages and pages of promises of what the program will do for you (I am not kidding, pages and pages)- lots of boasting about the author’s equipe and her advisors being the best of the best and her meeting people who are at the top in her field- some mildly interesting facts about bergamot- some fairly well known facts about various antioxidants (though she did assemble them in one place, I suppose)- a general message that looking good is of outmost importance and that it’s ok to judge people by how they look, because it reflects how healthy they are (thanks for that BTW, because that BS isn’t yet firmly ensconced in the fabric of society enough 🙄🙄😡)- some not-entirely correct info about ketosis — but written in a way that seems to make sense; unless you learn how it actually works and then you’ll start seeing that this plan has more holes than a wheel of Emmenthaler cheese. She does have some interesting info about sleep cycles and sleep types, but that is truly the only useful info — and frankly, because of the rest of the book I am wondering if I should fact-check that.In other words, don’t bother. If you are looking for a plan that focuses on supporting detoxification and other body systems without starving, check out Ann Louise Gittleman. If you want to work your way towards Keto or a healthier version of anti-inflammatory low-carb (that doesn’t involve frankenfoods or eating no veggies, because neither of those things are healthy nor sustainable) look at Mark Sisson’s books.

don't waste your money
Unfortunately, nothing new for people who are already interested in nutrition. I don't need egg muffin and bacon recipes for breakfast and was hoping for more in depth info, which I didn't find. Autophagy is not a new concept and you can find more in depth writing on this topic if interested.I wish I hadn't spent my money on this book...

Little new info; annoying branding! Glow15 251 times in 283 pages!
Changing my rating to one star because the more I read the book the more annoyed I become at having to wade through it for information. The branding! Glow15, 251 times in 283 page!!!!! Lordy! It can't be egg, avocado and feta cheese, It's an "avacadglow!!Original review: Another book that spends the first 15% telling you what a great book it is and the anecdotal, boring details of their "jouney" . So I skimmed through that.If you've been studying autophogy and you want a deeper understanding, nope! Skim the next 5%, you've read it. It gets interesting in the middle: the protein cycling and IF connection. ( Nothing new on IF either)I fell asleep trying to weed out what autophatea is, exactly. It was exciting to me because organic green Earl Grey with extra bergamot is my favorite. Yeah it was among the recipes. But I went agoogling on the "whole citrus" part. Low!!, $39.99 on the author's selling sight. So instead I'm sticking with my bulk, organic Earl Grey and a little extra organic bergamot oil.Pages 145-161 henalthy kitchen basics. New information: an oil that's great but $30 for a 17oz bottle. Almost 90% unsaturated fat and some of the benefits of tea! Olive oil's 86% unsaturated fat so I think I'll stick to olive oil and get those other benefits from organic green, oohlong, and black tea. Then the recipes. I may be wrong, and maybe it's just me, but once the basics of macronutrients for this plan are laid out I can find my way. Then sample days; I guess that's useful for some people. But, when you know she's suggesting 3 non-consecutive days of IF with around 25 grams of protein on those days and autophogy promoting foods daily, you've got it.Then details on HIIT, complete with illustrations.I went back to the Bazaar magazine article with it's clear, simple synopsis. I'll keep the Kindle book, but it wasn't satisfying digging through the cuteness and the information that we've heard. I think the author is trying too hard to promote an all things to all people BRAND: Glow15.That said, if you are entirely new to IF, HIIT, nutrition, cooking, keto, etc this may be a lot more fun and informative.

Love the skincare section and overall a great book on autophagy activating lifestyle
As I consider myself fairly fit and healthy and know my body really well after decades of dieting etc, I'm drawn to this book by its holistic approach and skin rejuvenation aspect as most autophagy readings seems to be focusing primarily on weight loss.I'm on a healthy lifestyle 80% of the time other than the occasional festive period or cheat days (my diet revolves around ketogenic mainly plant based fat, bulletproof, water fasting, warrior fast, protein fast, complex carb cycling - no simple carb). I've read quite a bit on autophagy and tried but only really sees its strong effect during and after a 5 day Water fast (can't measure it other than journalling my potentially biased observation of energy level, skin, body/muscle ache due to detox(?)), and normally makes me skin looks bad and dull on days 3/4 and it starts to glow on day 5/6, similar thing with energy level. After trying glow 15 I will reduce my water fast to 2/3 times a year. with this diet I could tell my skin glowing similar to a 5 days fast without the body ache or dull skin. Although my body isn't in a ketogenic state (daily measure of ketone says so) most of the time, as higher carb intake during low protein days, I still managed to trim a bit around my thighs and upper body which is quite shocking as I totally did not expect this. (my body fat is around 18% which is just OK for me, a non althelete with a desk job - anything lower, as tried out in my 20s, I'll start having problems with hormones and irregular period and rough and wrinkled skin). This is probably water loss although my body is quite toned, but I'd imagine it'll be more for someone with a higher bmi. Also as I do 5 day water fast 4-5 times a year this bit of loss is impressive, I don't think this is muscle loss as my overall protein level is maintained and replenished on high days.Definitely adding this to my roster now. It's not the easiest diet as one has to count protein carefully on low day (yay I now know the protein count for a cauli or fennel) and on high days I tend to get some "out of control" moment that I need to reel myself in... (which is funny and for some reason I think it's easier to do a 5 day fast than this, cos the craving will go away after day 3 where I enter a zone of zen and have no reaction to any food esp sweet or carbs!!!)

What a difference a day makes
I only recently took delivery of this ebook. I have read some way through it and feel it has possibilities for those of us that feel weight is an issue. I doesn't help that I have a 'sweet tooth' mentality. In saying that our 'Best Man' managed to give up smoking, following the death of his father, by being hypnotized. By using this ebook content and perhaps that additional process I might finally beat weight and become healthier. I recommend this book..

Bulletproof for women
Fantastic diet and really works. Easy to follow plan, scientifically backed up, great recipes, lost lots of weight (and I wasn’t not overweight to start with). The most cursory glance will show that this book is bulletproof for women.

Recipes and book in general repetitive
Was so looking forward for the book!!!Very big disappointment. Too many eggs in 15 days glow diet for breakfast. No alternative for people that don't consume dairy. Just waste of money.
