I like most probably heard about this book from the YouTuber Mythology and Fiction Explained (great channel btw) and ever since he announced this book I've wanted to get and now I have. It came in perfect condition, the book was exactly as advertised so your not getting stiffed, the art on the cover and in the novel is excellent, and lastly it's worth the price. Over all it's a 5 star book and a must read for any Mythology lover and of course watch the YouTube channel Mythology and Fiction Explained.

This is probably one of my favorite mythology book reads of all time. I follow the author on YouTube and he’s so thorough with his work, so I was more than eager to try this book out. It did not disappoint. It was a phenomenal read. Highly recommend to any mythology fans.I don’t know if this is the only book the author will write, but I’d love to read more of their work. Possibly a continuation of Greek myths? There’s so many, so there’s definitely lots of material to work with. I’d absolutely love to see the author’s take on them.

This was a really unique take on the retelling of the ild Greek myths. It's been adapted to be similar to a modern story, with interesting character points of views.I was really hooked by this unusual style. The fact that it was so well written and interesting really sucked me in.It also has some great illustrations peppered throughout that were quite good. They added a lot to my overall enjoyment of this gem.If you like Greek Mythology, I'd strongly recommend this book!

I'll be honest that I didn't know of this book till subscribing to the Youtube channel maintained by the authors. I really enjoy the way the stories are told and a brief explanation, in today terms, on the meanings of these myths.I'd love to see more editions done by these folks and even other source mythologies such as Norse, American Indian, Chinese, Japanese etc.

The purpose of this review is to share, in my opinion, the problems with this book so that the authors will improve their future works. I know that this is the author's first published work and I believe that is a great accomplishment. However, the quality of this book is not always consistent. Stories like Odysseus and Icaris are okay and quite forgettable in this book. It felt like they needed to fill more pages. The other stories are great. My only other complaint is that the formatting of the pictures is terrible. I'm not sure why they didn't decide to crop them to one page and add color. The crease down the middle ruins them. It is a shame because the art is fantastic. I also enjoyed the explanation section after the end of each story. These were insightful and well written.Overall, I would like to read more from these two. Either with more Greek stories or other mythologies. 6/10.

This is a book I could not put down once I started. It does an amazing job of telling the Greek mythology stories we all know and love, but turning them in to actual books we would find today. I recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

I like the narrative approach to the stories...easier to follow than a barrage of too many stories too many gods! The books select a few and tell you a story you will actually remember. Illustrations a bit darkas in not enough light nor colour.

I'm an avid Greek mythology nerd, and this is no less than the best book on Greek mythology I've ever read (and boy have I read a lot of books on the topic). Really hope Mythology & Fiction Explained will make more books on other Greek myths, because I'd 100% get them!

As an avid fan of mythology and storytelling, I found this book to be an astonishing example of how myths can be brought to life by the right author. I very much enjoyed reading through the six myths included in this book, and look forward to seeing more like it in the future. The cover image of Bellerophon and the Chimera is extremely well done and the hardcover book itself has a good weight to it.

Although the art work is supperb, they are quite dark pictures and in the fold of the book. Such nice art work should not be bisected by the page crease. As I am in the middle of another book, I have not started reading it yet.

Wow I have to say when I heard about this book I was unsure but upon ordering and receiving it I’m overjoyed. I was a fan of the writers YouTube channels for a long time and now after reading this book I’m even more so. A must have for a fan of Greek Myth with amazing illustrations. Well worth the price. Hope there’s a sequel
