Circulon Acclaim Hard-Anodized Nonstick Cookware Set, 13-pc - Black

I didn't realize how bad my old 15+ year old cookware had gotten until I got this new set. It is much easier to clean and looks fantastic. I have developed arthritis in my hands and the handles on this cookware is perfect for me. It curves at the right places to allow me to grip it better. Also, the handles stay cool so I don't have to wrestle with pot holders. It is lighter in weight than my old cookware and is so much easier to handle. It cooks evenly, too. I recommend this cookware to anyone. I am not sure if it is safe to put in the dishwasher, but because it is so much easier to handle, I will only hand wash it.

I wanted to test drive this cookware for several months before posting a review so I had time to discover its flaws. Well..... There aren't any. These are nice, solid pieces, yet not too heavy. The silicone handles do not get hot while cooking (can't speak for if you use it in the oven). The heat evenly. I have never had omlettes get as evenly browned as they do in these pans. Cleanup is a breeze. As soon as I plate the food, they go straight under warm running water for a quick wipe down with a soapy cloth. I also find that I can cook on a somewhat lower heat (or, really boil water quickly on high). They are nice looking and stack well (with paper towel between each one) in my cabinet. The glass lids are great too.

I bought the red set that came with a couple 'bonus' baking sheets, which was really nice. I've had the set for a couple months now and have used them nearly every day. They have held up very well. The heat distributes evenly. The bottoms are still red....and have not turned black from use. I don't use metal cooking utensils so the insides still remain scratch free and solid. I've had one hanging hook that fell off but it was easily put back on. I do hang this set from my pot rack in the kitchen. The lids all fit nice & snug. There are grooves in the bottoms of these pans so I would not suggest using them for fragile items such as eggs.

After much research, I decided on this set after reading all the positive reviews for it to replace an old, cheap set I had and overall, I'm happy with them. In the box, you get a 1 quart, 2 quart, and 3 quart saucepan with lids, an 8 inch frying pan, a 10 inch frying pan, a 12 inch frying pan, a six quart stockpot with a lid, and a large high sided skillet, so 13 pieces total. I love the variety of sizes because any size you could need is included for any cooking purpose. The pans are hard anodized, which makes them less susceptible to corrosion and more resistant to wear over time, so I'm confident that these pans will last a very long time. I've had them about 4 months now and there are no signs of wear at all, despite being used heavily every day.I also like that the pan handles have rubberized grips in order to better grip them and to prevent your hands from getting burned during cooking. The handles also have small metal rings on the ends in case you want to hang them from a rack or prong on the wall. One thing you will want to be careful of is that the bottoms of the pans are sort of rough and will scratch a ceramic glass top stove, as is stated in the care booklet. You can put them in the dishwasher, but I always hand wash them to prolong the life of the pans.As far as the nonstick aspect of the pans, they do a great job of releasing the food and they cook the food evenly. The only thing I do not like about this set and it wasn't visible in the product photos on this site so I didn't realize this upon purchase, but there are engraved circles all over the inside bottoms of the pans. I find that when I'm cooking something like eggs or sauteing chicken, that some of the food gets caught within the circles and does make it a bit more difficult to clean, so I wish the circles weren't there. Aside from that, I like the set and it's excellent quality.

I really like these pots, pans, and baking sheets. The color is a true red and the quality is excellent. These clean up really well. As recommended, I have not put these in the dish washer and have washed them with soap and water after using them. They are easy to clean. The handles do not get hot, which is a real convenience, and the silicone is comfortable to the touch.

I've had these for about a month now. I cook quite a bit. And have been used to cooking on the wolf stove before. So I really miss the stove but these pots really improve my cooking. They're great quality. I'm very careful with them and have the little felt flower pieces you can buy to put them between the pots. And I believe that has kept them nicely and I will use them in the future. The instructions are correct that you never really have to use the stove on high because the pans really do spread the heat quite evenly and efficiently. As I said before I cook a lot and these pans are quite nice.
