I was a bit hesitant to try this ELM327 adapter, especially with my Alfa Romeo Giulia, but I'm happy to report it works flawlessly with Multiecuscan! After a quick tweak in the device manager settings, it connected seamlessly and allowed me to access all the diagnostics and information I needed.This little adapter saved me a ton of money compared to the expensive OBD devices specifically marketed for Alfa Romeos. The media could not be loaded. Difficult to find bidirectional Scanners to test Ford 7.3 Diesel not just read codes. Fraction of the cost of high end readers even reads srs, abs, overhead console instrument lights Injector Buzz test, Cylinder contribution and instrument cluster to name a few. Had the left rear brake light and blinker stop working on my 2012 F150. I was also getting no power to the left brake light and left turn signal on the trailer connection. After making sure the bulbs and fuses were good and weren't the issue, I saw that a BCM reset fixed this for many people. While not on the official Forscan website I saw this adapter could be here same day and was just 20 bucks so I gave it a shot. The driver install failed the first time I tried to install it but then I plugged in the adapter and tried again and it installed on a Windows 11 machine. Forscan posted a warning that the adapter wasn't good enough but let me run with it anyway. I didn't see any problem running the software. In just a few minutes I was able to clear all the old codes and do a reset on the BCM. After that, all the lights were working perfectly again. Rare to find an easy fix that works but this was one of them.

I got this so I could use Forscan on my laptop to diagnose my wife's Ford Focus. This was the cheapest one that I could find that had a reasonably good rating and reviews. The Forscan app will tell you that this is not the recommended adapter and it may not work, but it works fine. My wife's car was not shifting right, and I was able to read the codes which indicted that she has a bad clutch adaptor. That's a $100 part. ALSO, she only has only one key and using this adapter and the Forscan app, I can program new keys for her car. That feature alone is worth $200 - $300. I bought a new key for $16.95 on Amazon. It will cost $5 - $10 to get it cut and then I can program it myself with the Forscan app. I'm Happy!

This cable works fine for me on my Extended License copy of FORSCAN.Used on:2016 Ford Fusion2012 Ford Edge2010 F-1502015 F-150and quite a few more.No problems. Good product for the money.

The product does work for the most part; however, when I plug it in, it says not the correct adapter and some features may not work. I’m not sure what features don’t work, but it did do what I needed it to do. I have a 2022 ford f150 lariat 5.0 V8.

Ya tenía el cable amarillo adaptador y ha funcionado perfectamente; tras configurarlo debidamente. El driver carga online, para Windows 7.

Preformed really well. My ford transit had a speed limiter on it, researched how to remove it and it recommended for scan. They sell an adapter on there website for about 60 quid, I had a look on here and took the risk and it’s works perfect can’t fault it and saved me a fair bit of money

Dovendolo collegare a un pc portatile si è reso necessario scaricare un driver per farlo riconoscere sulla porta USB. Bisogna poi scaricare il software Forscan, disponibile in versione gratuita o a pagamento, in quest'ultimo caso sono presenti ulteriori funzioni.L'uso dell'adattatore mi ha permesso di diagnosticare varie anomalie riconducibili a un problema classico per le Ford: un guasto (U1900) al connettore del bus sul quadro strumenti. Dopo una diagnostica (a pagamento) senza soluzione in officina se non un'ipotetica sessione di verifiche, mi è bastato smontare il quadro strumenti ed effettuare delle saldature seguendo un tutorial video su Youtube. Problema risolto brillantemente spendendo pochissimo. Consigliato per chi ha un minimo di manualità.
