These arrived very quickly at my door. They are nice looking and inconspicuous as camera-glasses. A nice case, lens cloth, instructions, and a special USB cable are included.The instructions are pretty good. Simple, to the point, and cover what you need to know. After charging them up using the included camera-style USB cable with its one special end I was eager to give them a trial run.The instructions do point out that when using these glasses you have to practice looking a little higher than you normally do to capture the image you want. They weren't kidding. I can't get used to not looking at what I am trying to film but rather looking well above it. Also the field of view of the camera is less to the sides than my eyesight, so I found I have to make sure to look directly at the thing I'm trying to record or it just might not show up in the final video at all, being out of frame to one side.The controls are buttons on the earpieces. You 3-second- push the one on your right temple to turn the camera on and start recording. An LED on the inside of the temple piece turns solid blue. A quick push of the same button puts you in pause mode. The LED blinks blue. Another quick push of the same button puts you back into record. LED solid blue again. To shut the glasses off you give a 3-second push to the same temple button. The LED goes solid red for a little while and then goes out. The same LED blinks red while charging.Here is the thing: you can't see the LED without taking the glasses off so unless you manipulate the push button with the glasses off you can't tell what mode you are in, or about to go into, with the next button push. Too bad the LED isn't up in the front frame somewhere where you could sneak a peek at it. However it is pretty reliable to just keep track of your button pushes by memory once you lean to count "Three Mississippi" to yourself when you want to be sure to get a long button push. Next: the 3-second push to turn on the recording still doesn't turn them on instantly. The total time from the start of pushing the button to beginning recording is about ten seconds.If you leave the glasses in pause mode things happen faster, but they power off by themselves after 5 minutes or so. That means the only reliable way to capture an un-anticipated moment is to start with the glasses in the power off mode, and then hope that you have about ten seconds between the time you realize you want to record something until it actually occurs.The video quality is quite good and the compatibility with my Windows based home computer is a cinch, except for the special USB cable. No special software required. The image is not stabilized so movements as you are walking or turning your head seem exaggerated in the video, but that is to be expected.As sunglasses they work quite well to block brilliant sunlight and glare.All in all I am quite pleased with these at the price point, though I'd put it on my wish list that the camera was aimed a little higher and had a little bit bigger field of view.Update: After the third of forth use these glasses had trouble connecting to my computer. I followed the directions and did a reset and the problem was resolved. About four uses later they wouldn't connect again and the reset did not solve the problem. I didn't spend a lot so instead of immediately returning them I opened them up to see if it was the way the cable port sits. Apparently not, but by then the return window was closed and I've tampered with them anyway. It might just be a cable problem, but I'm not buying a proprietary cable just to find out. Oh well. Fun while it lasted!
