Nu Cobalt NC52 Wall Climber Smart Logic Robotic Pool Cleaner

My pool sits right next to a large tree and it drops leaves and tree bits into my pool every day. Not so bad throughout most of the year but especially bad in the fall. The Polaris I used before was never able to handle the tree bits. I had to brush and scoop up the bits myself. Especially hard in the deep end of the pool. I also had to run a noisy booster pump to pick up the material I couldn’t grab with nets and brushes. There’s always a noticeable bump in my electricity bill for the month because I had to run the extra pump for so long. I had a Polaris cleaner, built in pump, hand tools, and an extra pump to deal with stuff at the bottom of the pool; all these things were not worth the hassle. Even with all this, my regular pump was doing the heavy lifting. The Polaris would just move most the dirt and leaf bits around the pool leaving it for my filter or me to pick up. When I found this pool cleaner it said it did what I was already doing and it wasn’t too pricey for something that scrubbed, vacuumed, and climbed walls. The 50ft cord covered my whole pool too. I hesitated to commit to another pool cleaning device, but if I wasn’t happy I could return it. It has been too weeks and I am glad I got it.After ordering it arrived in a few days. I have use it pretty much every day since I got it. I didn’t know I wanted a cleaner that climbed walls until I got it. It cleans them a little too well, sometimes I wish it would just stick to the floor. It can’t climb my stairs in the shallow end, but neither could my Polaris. My manual brushes still get use because of that but it’s not a lot of surface to brush by hand. This little cleaner picks up everything in one go. I ran it for three hours the first time but I’ve since then I’ve learned I only need to run it for about an hour for it cover my whole pool. It cuts down on how much I have to run my main pump so there’s a side benefit I wasn’t expecting.

I purchased the nc-52 after having had the nc22 for a year and a half before it malfunctioned. I had purchased the extended warranty, and got a full refund. I really liked the nc-22, but prices had increased dramatically. So, I purchased a cheaper bot from a competitor. It was horrible. I returned it immediately, and got The NC-52 with the extended warranty(well worth it, btw) and I am very happy to have my bot back cleaning my pool while I drink coffee in the Florida sun.

Happy to say that it definitely cleaned my pool. It can be a little cumbersome to clean and empty out and the bag is not really big. However, it did get all of the leaves out from the bottom of the pool and it does drive up the side of the pool and clean. I think what could make it better would be being able to control where the machine goes in the pool so that it cleaned evenly. Never the less, it was worth it to me to buy and not have to physically clean out my pool.

Having previously owned this model, I was familiar with it. It collects leaves and debris very well, and climbs the pool walls to help eliminate brushing.

A great product, and great customer service from supplier willing to take time and answer all my questions. Wow, now there's something you don't see every day !! I would recommend this product however, chlorine shock is hard on anything mechanical. I take mine out when I shock pool.

Extremely light😁 Easy to handle and assembly. Really like the rectangle mechanism.I would have given 5 stars but I broke the plastic that holds the bag in place after my first use, still works fine.

Works great..have a fiberglass inground pool and it cleans it with no problem.
