Does what it’s supposed to
Nothing fancy. Not heavy duty but does it really need to be? All it needs to do is strain the oil and hold it for the next use. It does that just fine.

It is a little larger than I needed it to be but it does the work it is supposed to do. The metal could be a little bit thicker but all in all I’m pleased with it. My favorite part is the little strainer as it catches everything and leaves you with pure bacon fat. I have to admit that the next time I purchase one of these it will be smaller as there’s no way I need to reserve so much bacon fat.

You can easily put oils in it & take them out.

Great quality, but lid just sits on the can and it is easy to spill.
This product would be perfect if the lid didn’t just sit loosely on the can. I worry about it spilling. Other than that, I love the style and size, and the strainer really cleans the oil so I can use it multiple times. Again, it would be better if the lid actually snapped into place and didn’t just sit loosely on the can.

Very nice oil keeper, but.....
This oil keeper is very nice except for a couple of drawbacks for me. One is that it is not large enough to hold the oil needed to fill a Presto CoolDaddy deep fryer to the minimum level (not a fault of the oil keeper). The other is the handle design. The handle is shaped in a way that when the keeper is full of oil, the handle has to be gripped in a very firm and certain way to keep the container from tipping away and the oil spilling. I ordered the RSVP Fryer's Friend 6-cup oil keeper, and it is just the right size, plus has a handle that allows the full container to be easier held without tipping away. However, despite the handle design of the Mile Kimball oil keeper, if it were larger, I would buy it again.Side comment: The product looks copper colored in the picture shown, although it is described as silver. It is definitely silver.

I was surprised to see how big it was ...screen to collect the debris from the Oil and A Cover so far so good I will tell in Time
