This rope is by far the best one I have ever purchased. I have a 100lb St Bernard mix and he destroys any and all ropes we give him. It is just a matter of time. This one has a layer of rope coiled around the center twisted ropes. So every time my dog starts to unravel the coil, I just wrap the coil back around the center and tie the end into a knot. Cut off any extra fray and it is good as new, just a bit shorter. Because of this awesome design, this rope has lasted longer that any other product I have purchased before. When he eventually wears this down to the point that I can not retie it, I will most definitely be buying another one.

First of all, this rope is HUGE! The product I received didn't look like the product pictured. The product I received is dark blue & white & doesn't have the face detail. Not that big of a deal, my dogs don't know it was suppose to look like a snake anyway, that was more for me I guess.Rating at 4 stars for now. I'll update again once my dogs have had more time to play with it so I can review the durability!

I have a mastiff and he typically destroys any toy in about 5 seconds without even trying. Typically on rope toys we have bought those kind with 4 or 5 big knots in them and he will chew up the knot and then the whole rope starts to come apart into a mess of giant strings.This toy, is much sturdier and is very nice. It has stood up to him and he loves it. I did remove the little tongue part off of it before giving it to him. It was cute and all, and actually sowed on pretty well but if it came off it would be easy to swallow.

The product looks completely different than the picture, but in a good way. Reven (a German Shepard) has a tendency to chew through simple ropes (my aunt gave him some of her old sailing rope and he ate through it in five minutes). I was worried from the picture that the rope would be made out of a twine-like substance. Not the case, it's made out of the same rope that Mammoth uses for it's knotted chew toys, which Reven already loves. The product that was sent is less cute than the picture, but serves well as a chew toy. It's already lasted for a couple weeks, and looks like it should last another four at least.

I have two 90 pd Pit Bulls . This toy has so far been a favorite out of the 100 others that I bought and this toy did last longer than any other toy I found except West Paw products. My dogs only chewed the ends of this to get it to unravel. It lasted 3 days before it was unraveled and then they shreded it apart. This would be a great toy for any other dog that is not a VERY aggressive chewer.

My dog loves this rope toy. She's a mixed breed of boxer and pit bull, so she's an aggressive chewer and destroys most toys immediately. This one in particular lasts about 2 weeks, which is great compared to others. I'd give it 5 stars if the ends were knotted tighter and didn't unravel so quickly.

Yes, my dedicated destroyer dog (Afghan/Golden split) can unravel these...in a couple or three months! She still loves the ones she has “killed.” I will likely keep replacing them. Great toy

Our dogs love to play tug of war with this but with them being big chewers they had taken out some of the string within two weeks. Still play with it and love it though

I'm not impressed with the SnakeBiter as much as the Floss Chews for my power chewer. He destroyed this one in minutes.
