Love this for its full flavor. Well worth the price. It has additional health benefits and offers great value for money. So glad i found it.

This is, considered just as a food product, very good honey. The texture is creamy and thick, the color is a lovely semi-opaque amber, and the flavor is lovely, sweet and floral. But the price, like all New Zealand manuka honey but even higher than some, is ridiculous. Manuka honey is widely promoted for a huge number of snake-oil-like uses, but it's just honey. The "UMF" number indicates the concentration of manuka honey's unique antibacterial compound, but this will only matter if you plan on using it as a wound dressing or something — something you really shouldn't be doing with a non-sterile food product — or as a skin conditioner, in which case the tiny volume and ultra-high price will soon be a problem. I would suggest simply buying a different kind of gourmet honey for a more reasonable price, rather than spending more on this than honey is really worth, but it's quite tasty all the same.

This Bella manuka honey is delicious , and it has the characteristic thick, creamy texture of raw honey. The flavor is excellent, with a floral aroma and a butterscotch-like sweetness, and a little bit of pleasant kick or bitterness from the manuka enzymes.Bella is one of the New Zealand companies that carries the UMF quality trademark and is a registered license-holder, according to the on the UMFHA website. All the UMF-licensed honey is traceable.I like that it has some manuka factor, but it's only UMF 5+, which means it's not considered potent enough to be therapeutic. "Medical" manuka honey needs a minimum rating of 10 UMF.The higher the UMF grade, the greater the presence of the manuka honey antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects:Low Grade: UMF5 to UMF9Medium Grade: UMF10 to UMF15Superior High Grade: UMF16+However, if you're not looking to buy manuka honey solely for the potential health (immune and healing) benefits, this is honey is worth trying for the flavor alone. I like to eat it straight from the jar with a spoon. It seems almost a shame to stir it into yogurt or tea, but I do that too. I would order it again.It comes in a plastic jar. While glass is more recyclable, and I generally prefer glass to plastic, all other things being equal, this product is coming all the way from New Zealand. I'd rather have intact honey in a plastic jar than deal with the jar getting damaged in transit.

OMG!! Let me start off by saying that I have never had premium honey before. I have spent my entire life using the average honey bear and plastic bottle brands that you can buy at any mass market store. What a HUGE difference in taste!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The texture is thick, smooth, and creamy. It spreads well on biscuits, toast, and English muffins. And ohhhh myyyy, is it GOOD!!!! The flavor is out of this world - sweet and packed full of delicious honey goodness!!! I have nothing else to compare it to other than the lesser quality mass market brands and it is very, very different. You can really taste the difference in quality! It is WELL worth the extra money in my opinion! It's one of those things that when you try it, you can easily say that you couldn't ever go back to those other brands.As for the health benefits, I don't use honey for medicinal purposes so I really can't comment on that. I have only ever used honey to soothe a sore throat and this works fabulously for that, too. All I can say is that it's creamy, delicious, and completely different from what I am used to consuming. DELICIOUS!
