Q: are these panels already put together or do you have to attach the wire to the frame?

Sadly no, you'll have to do the assembly by yourself. However, all materials are included for easy assembly with common hand tools

Q: Is that shipping weight accurate...less than 6 pounds?

No! I would bet it weighs 60 or more pounds.

Q: We have a great dane...what do you think?

This kennel is designed for small and medium pets like dogs not exceeding 70lbs. Great dane which exceeds 70 lbs needs bigger/larger kennel.

Q: Does this have a cover that you can get to go on it?

It does not come with a cover. Not sure if the manufacturer makes one or not for it. I zip tied a canvas tarp to the top to protect my dogs from hawks. Works great and looks fine.
