Heavy Duty 1/2" Weldless Bulkhead w/Stainless Steel Valve

Bit short so difficult to attach anything on the inside of the vessel. I was barely able to manage adding a bazooka filter with a double female piece on my keggle.It had a tiny leak (2 drops per minute) which I fixed with high temperature silicone caulking on the outside. That could have been due to an imperfection in the drilled hole though.It takes a bit of muscle to turn the spiggot, but that shouldn't be a problem for most people.

Was fine for me - used a SS braid for my 10gal Igloo mash tun, and I was able to easily connect to CPVC female T. You get what you pay for - nothing amazing here, just a good deal for a ball value and parts to connect it to your mash tun.

Does get the job done. It's basically parts you could buy separately and put together, I did have to tighten a couple connections, but it works fine in my brew kettle.

This connected easily and with no leaks, hand tight. However to add a bazooka or connector to false bottom, there is not enough male thread to add connector. So I will remove the included nut and use the connector with another metal washer, we shall see. Knowing the use of this item it is pretty idiotic to leave the short thread on the inside. Well I'm doing a 2nd cooler, this will work fine as the hot water tank. For tun i ordered a ss bulkhead and barb connection to use with a valve...easier.

This were my first valves for a homebrew set up, they work well but now I prefer to buy everything separately to fit my needs.

**Update 1/5/2015**So I used this valve for the 3rd and last time. This thing leaks way too much. I tried adding more gaskets, using another washer in the pot with a 2nd gasket and I couldn't stop it from leaking. Spend the extra money and get the correct valve. The one that is pictured isn't the one that you will receive.Like many others, I didn't receive the same valve that is in the photo. I hate that these vendors post photos of a different item like this one. I'm pretty sure that we call that false advertisement.I had to replace the silicon washed for the outside of the valve because the one that was provided didn't prevent any leaking. There was still a few drips, but once the boil started, the sugars in the wort sealed the leak.

Arrived as promised. I know there are some complaining about the lack of a coupling or flange nut, but for the price, you get a weldless, stainless steel valve and hardware. All I need to do now, is add a stainless 90* elbow to direct the wort downward, and I'm all set. For the price, this is a good deal!

you cant beat this deal. I went to home improvement store and got all the parts that this has and it was more that this and in brass. This is the best deal. I bought 2 and I am looking to get another one.
