North American Custom Covers Compatible Cargo Liner for Audi Q7 Generation 1

This cargo liner I was shipped is different than shown as mine is all black on the topside and gray underneath. As shown, it does include a generous water proof flap that covers the bumper and folds neatly back on top of the liner when not in use. The sides are held in place with velcro hooks on the cover matching soft velcro one inch strips that are cut to size and stuck to the trim to match the cover. The velcro strips are self adhesive and easy to apply. I was not sure about whether I wanted to apply them at first but they do not stand out on my black trim and look ok even when the cover is not in place. If your Q7 has an interior color other than black you want want to purchase velcro strip that matches your color.The cargo liner fits the area both when there are two rows of seats and when the second row is folded down (in which case an extension piece of liner is supplied to cover the backs of the folded seats. Velcro keeps them in place. The liner is designed to fit when the second row seats have one or more of the seat backs folded down. They are attached to the seats using velcro strips around the headrests.I like that there is a string case into which the liner fits when not in use. It fits into the plastic tray under the lift-up cargo flap.I would have given this five stars if there was a better method of attaching the sides of the liner without using copious amounts of velcro strips and if the liner had a better option for covering the space when the second row seats are folded down.

I had return it because the product was difficult to install and required sticking down velcro all over the cargo area. The velcro concerned me because I did not want glue all over the rear whenever I sell the car. It also needs much better instructions on how to install as well because I was totally lost while trying to install it. I would highly recommend to the seller that they make some youtube instructional videos. It would help people understand the process and what this cover entails.The only reason this does not get one star is because there customer support was very helpful in the return process.
