A magnificent piece of living room furniture!!
This chest of drawers is the most beautiful piece of wood work. That too for a modest price. Its entirely made of solid wood (supposedly Sheesham). Looks great, made as per dimensions mentioned. I was skeptical about ordering wood artefacts online after seeing bad reviews from customers, but dared to order this piece as it looked elegant and apt for my needs. The seller is very friendly and called after ordering to finalize the polish color and discuss on shipment, customizable options if any. Overall great product!

Dont even think of buying this
This product is sourced from some roadside Saharanpur furniture maker, with absolutely no control on quality. Infact, the polish was third class and the wood was of the worst quality. In fact, when I asked for a refund, the asked me to shell out 15k (after refunding 10K of initial purchase) to give me the same product of good quality. Reason --- amazon charge good commission ... bla bla... He apparently confessed that they ship this stuff with lowest quality kacchi wood, which is prone to termites and doesn't last long. I am happy that it turned out to be bad and i returned it. Totally untrustworthy. Buy at your own risk !

One year later : Still good BUT..
Got this a year back. Arrived well-packed. It looked great, the polish was wonderful, the wood was solid.- The base of the drawers seems to be plywood. This is not a bad thing per se, and it has held up superbly well. The back of the cabinet - between the wood beams - also seems to be plywood. Again, not a bad thing - but it needed to be said.- The drawers have no channels. Since wood expands during the monsoons especially, in those months it needs extra strength to open. Not ALL the drawers, but some of them.- I have just noticed some termites. Could be a function of the wood, or the weather, or my house. I have termites in another part of my home as well - so won't blame these guys fully. But wood should be resistant.HOWEVER, having said all this, this cabinet is one of my favorite furniture pieces. It's got a classic look, clean lines, compact and well-utilizing of space.And it's really a steal considering the price. I showed my interiors contractor the piece and asked him how much he would charge me to make this - and he quoted almost double. So I'm pretty thrilled :)

Great quality with poor craftsmanship
Great piece, however the drawers get stuck while opening and closing and are crooked. I really wish the craftsmanship could be better.
