Where should I start? When i first started reading this book, I was a little apprehensive about the story line thinking this was just a one night stand for Alexandre. As it turned out Pearl became smitten with him and he as well. As their story unfolds, I became so fascinated with their story I could not put the book down. My interest peaked with every twist and turn. Not to be left out, the sex was amazing, it tells me that women in their 40s are not dead .Alexandre pursued Pearl. He truly loved her, he was besotted with her I was so amazed at the twists and turns of this book, expecting the worse, I knew that Pearl would become pregnant with his child and she would be a single parent. Love did prevail. The story line amazing and it held my interest I was happy their was HEA.

Oh my my...what a story....Do you love a steamy hot sexy love story? Would you like it to be about a 40 yr old normal woman even if the man is 15 years younger than her? Well don't say no don't think its about another rich young guy...well it is but Alexandre Chevalier is different than any 25 yr old that you have read about...he is an Alpha Male but he wants Pearl and he will do about anything to get her...if his secrets and family do not ruin it for him!!! And sorry but Pearl is not just any normal 40 yr old she has secrets and issues to they are so deeply hidden that you won't believe that she has hid them so far down inside, dark deep secretsPearl is a documentary producer that has been celibate for 2 yrs Alexandre and his sister have a company called Hookedup yep its exactly what it sounds like...but does he use this sight he is selling, he is a multimillionaire why would he need to use this sight, Pearl wants to know but what Pearl finds knocks her socks off she finds a nerdy oh so sexy handsome man that she desperately wants him to take her, give her what he makes her crave...he seems way more mature than he is. The first sexy kitchen scene had me hooked line and sinker...its all so consuming that it will blow your mind! Thank you Arianne Richmonde for one of the sexiest true feeling stories I've read in a long long time....I absolutely fell in love with Alexandre he is a wonderful book boyfriend I loved that he had such powerful feelings for Pearl! They both have issues and things to over come but you will not believe the things that go on you have the secrets, crazy family members, best friend, lesbians, danger, accidents, a murder? At times I was steaming hot, mad as heck, wanted to throw my Kindle or reach into it and strangle someone myself then I'd awe struck or crying my eyes out....this book has it all! This author knows how to spin a tale for sure and she knows how to write some hot steamy sex! If you like all of those things then buy this series you will not regret it! This set has the first 3 books and is over 800 pages so its a good long read but to spin the web of this story I'm not sure it could have been any shorter! Then it has 2 other books to follow up and wrap it all up nice and pretty...ya think? Maybe, you have to read to see...:)Do I recommend it Absolutely 100% I loved it, couldn't put it down, couldn't sleep its that good! Lots of steamy hot sex so you need to be 18 or older and enjoy that kind of book, if ya do you sure will appreciate this series about sweet Pearl and sexy Alexandre!

It is rare to find an author with the talent to develop characters the way the Ms. Richmonde does. When I read a book in which I am totally into the characters and feel like I actually know them and want them in my life forever I know the author has done a great job of developing the characters. I absolutely love all of the characters in this trilogy but of course mose especially Alexandre and Pearl.Their story is captivating. Although they both seem to live perfect lives, they are both broken in a sence. What is refreshing is that Pearl is a 40 year old woman and it takes a very mature 25 year old Alexandre's determination to make the relationship work. They make a great dysfunctional couple helping each other through the life tradgedies they have foregone.The love scenes are by far some of the best I have read. I could literally feel the love eminating from the two. I kind of skipped through the f/f scenes but the love scenes throughout the book were amazing.Although the trilogy is the complete story with a great HEA the story was so good I bought the next book which is from Alexandre's POV. And it does not disappoint either. This series is among my favorites and I will be reading it over and over.

I highly recommend it, especially in the big book. all 3 stories in one book,, fast read, and grabs you right from the start. Arianne Richmonde, is up there with Sylvia Day and Maya Banks books. This trilogy is very well written and is erotic, but i like to say spicy and hot, I'm 56 and love these stories. It's nice that is about a 40 yr old and not a virgin, or a 20 something. Started reading at night, and if I had my way I woulda locked myself in the bedroom till i was done with the whole thing,, but ya gotta sleep, but you lay there and wonder whats going to happen every time you put it down. Great story. The whole erotic genre is great.. if you don't like this book, you're either a prude or stuck in the humdrum of romance novels that are about strictly missionary position love making... Lighten up and enjoy this book, and realize you're never too old for love stories that arent just boy finds girl, girl loves boy it has a different story line than most erotic stories so you will love this one....Made me hot!!!!!!!!!!!!not that i ever wasn't anything but,, but this brings out a new side of me, and I LIKE IT. YOU WILL TOO. it doesn't contain the bdsm like most other erotic books, quite the opposite,, they make a lot of love, but its "normal" except that she is 15 yrs older than him,,,, but a great storyline... you will love it,,, its more romantic than erotic, but a great read. guaranteed.

I loved this series soooo much..How can you not fall for a handsome French billionaire,that's right you cant..You will not be able to put this down.

I cannot believe anyone could even make their way through this. The characters are one dimensional and, frankly, unlikeable. Every cliche in the book, are in this book. Sometimes strung together so closely that it’s laughable. Once l start a book, l always finish it but in this case l give up. I gave it 1 star only because l couldn’t select none.

After reading Fifty Shades wasn't sure if I wanted to read any others like it but the Pearl books are great. I bought all five and I couldn't believe the ending of them it had me in tears.Once I started reading them I couldn't put them down

These books were a enjoyable slow read,it was slow going at the beginning , then I couldn't put it down in the middle , then add slow going again for a bit then heart pumping stuff until the end , you can say a bit of a roller coaster really. I normally read fast but it has taken me over 2 weeks to read these trilogys .

Not as good as the shades of grey though...
