Mouthpiece made from Silverite metal for a bright, edgy tone with depth and guts for an exciting sound. Dukoff's Alto Saxophone mouthpieces feature construction using custom Silverite metal. This contributes to a bright "edgy" tone with depth and guts for an exciting sound. The shank of the mouthpiece has been elongated to get a better grip on the cork when tuning. The insert for the teeth is slightly contoured for more comfortable playing. The response is instantaneous and clean.

Met expectation.

Very disappointing.
Needed adjustments right out of the box. The table was not flat. Reeds would squeak like crazy, and I have been playing the sax for years. The metal is very soft as well. Quality control is lacking on the final product. Very dissappointing.

At first I didn't like it - I was going to sell it
At first I didn't like it - I was going to sell it. But I procrastinated for a couple months while I improved my playing, came back to it and voila! It sounds amazing now. Probably could be said for a lot of mouthpieces and players.... I tend to like bright mouthpieces, otto links and vandoren v16 sound like cotton in the horn to me. But the vandoren jumbo java and this dukoff sound just right, for me....
