Supervision Essentials for the Practice of Competency-Based Supervision (Clinical Supervision Essentials Series) 1st Edition

An excellent training curriculum. I read it and passed an exam based on this to qualify for certification on the subject of supervision in my field of social work.

Good reference book.

Arrived on time and it's the book I needed for my studies.

I just started it and so far so good. But on exhibit 1.1 it seems that information is missing and it's out of order.

For both supervisors and supervisees!

This book exemplifies an attempt to create a new "language" , presumably intended to differentiate their counseling group from others, by taking old words and redefining them in the context of the topic here -- Supervision.

I feel that a good edit would have reduced this book to a chapter. There is a lot of repeating of words and concepts and nothing new to me. I am disappointed but still reading. Perhaps later chapters have more meaningful content
