Ha! A valve that acts like a reducer! JUNK!
Ridiculous. This 1" gate valve has an ACTUAL internal opening of ¾". Why use 1" PVC for my entire house if this valve acts like a reducer?Flawed.

Beware - internal passage is smaller than the thread sizing indicates...
Like others have said, beware of the inner diameter of the passage on these valves. I am returning a 2" valve because that opening is a full 1/2 inch smaller (~1.5") in diameter than a 2" valve (~2") purchased at a local plumbing store. I'll attach a photo showing the two side-by-side if I can. My application cannot afford such a restriction because it would be hard on the pump.

Cheap imitation of a valve that was good. Buy something else!
These ones from China are junk compared to the NORCA they copied to make them. Threads in gate are garbage and pull right out.

Quality and China are not Synonymic
I had it attached to hoses, using it. I 'let go/dropped' it from my hand onto lawn soil (soft soil), the handle broke. Huh?

Not really 2 inchs.
This is not a real 2 inch valve. The internal opening is reduced drastically.I have purchases 2 in gate valves before and they are very close to 2 inches in the pass through diameter
