If you know what this is for and need one, this is the way to go. Feels extremely well made and has the dcan switch. Have not used the software, but the price of this cable w/ software is less than those just selling a cable. This one was recommended to me as a few others in my car group have the same one. Good buy!

I would not recommend using the software that comes on the CD.. It did not work and has several missing files. Also also of INPA is in german, you can source one of the internet that is in english/german.The USB to OBII cord works great, with a good laptop and the correct software you should be connected to your car computer system in minutes.I have my computer, cord, and INPA setup so well I can have access to ALL my cars functions in 30 seconds.

I could not get the software to install properly. There are two separate files with different installation steps and neither one seemed to work. Probably a downloaded version would be best is there was a link included somewhere with the CD

I was able to use it to reprogram my BMW to correct a few error codes that I no longer wanted to see because I changed bulb types. This item worked great, my laptop found the USB, and the software found the OBD plug. The cost was about half the price of some other similar products.

I did not use the included software. However, I was able to connect to my car (2007 750Li) using ISTA+ and this cable.

The first one I bought didnt work, bought from a different vendor. This one works perfectly

It would be nice if the switch was labeled with the mode that it's in.
