I was looking for a tin about the size of a regular sized Altoids tin, this is very close in side. The black finish on these allow a nice silver and/or gold pen to write and stencil on them. I have to keep buying theses because my friends and neighbors keep taking mine. Collectively, we have come up with multiple uses, from camping, gun cleaning & parts kits, first aid organization, and the list goes on and on. This particular brand has the best quality closure. Look for the line across the top part of lid. There are 2 protrusions for the lid to latch onto. I use electrical tape to wrap around seam to waterproof the tin. Just stretch it slightly going around corners for a tight fit. Works great!!

These arrived undamaged (unlike some metal tins I've ordered from other people). They are perfect for a craft project I do where I decoupage the e tins and sell them.

Used as a team gift for all-star cheer. Stuffed full of goodies and personalized on the top and bottom with vinyl. Great size, small but fit a decent amount of items, hinge works well, paint was sturdy, overall a great product and would recommend.
